Post subject:  Book List on Personal Development

I am compiling a set of materials that are the best for self-development. So far I have:
  • Power of Now - Ekhart Tolle
The Way of the Superior Man - David Deida
    Transformations - RSD
    Blueprint Decoded -RSD
    Anthony Robbins
    Napoleon Hill
    Nietzche
    Fountainhead - Ayn Rand
This list will function as a good start for anyone trying to develop themselves. I will edit the post every time a new book is suggested.

These weren't meant to be for the game but
The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand is not only an incredibly good novel but also essentially demonstrates how someone can be an ideal, independent man.

Also anything by Nietzsche. I'll try to think of some more...

But yeah I would really recommend the Fountainhead.

Without doubt the best self help book is

The Power of Now

For those that have not read it, it basically teaches you that nothing matters except that which is happening to you at that specific moment, the NOW. Live in the NOW and stop worrying about what might happen or has happened because they have no influence on you at this specific point in time.

Was the corner stone for me getting through a messy divorce. I see it as a good resource for PUA as it can help overcome the AA and empower confidence.

I did get it as an eBook from somewhere too, great for the car!!

I know its an NLP book, but Frogs into Princes really helped out some of my inner game, and helped me find a new perspective on things.

Robert Greene "48 Laws of Power".

In fact, anything by Robert Greene is gold IMO.

Being and Nothingness, Jean-Paul Sartre

Forget Nietzche. Being and Nothingness is the greatest single philosophical work there has ever been.

If you can find Personal Power the audiobook, it has a 30 day program with exercises that will change your life if you follow them.

Dahlia Lama's Art of Happiness is also good.

Og Mandino's University of Success is great for a wide range of topics.

Personally I enjoy Got Fight? by UFC fighter Forrest Griffin. He does a great job of relating lessons learned from being a cage fighter to life.

Awesome list! If your really into Tolle, read A New Earth, as well.

I'm currently reading it and T. Robbin's Awaken the Giant Within.

This, especially his book on War. Since a rAFC is essentially at war with himself, and then a PUA is at war with other males, his works are priceless.

Sperm Wars by Robin Baker is definitely an excellent book for understanding men and women on an evolutionary level.

It's not really meant for PU. But THE 21 IRREFUTABLE LAWS OF LEADERSHIP is a very good read.

Definately THE best book I've ever read, I was struggling with AA for like a year, this book got me over it, and basically put stuff into perspective like confidence and how materialistic possessions can't bring you ultimate happiness.
