How do you know when you are ready to teach?I suppose it's different for every instructor out there. Some get into there own way and others are recruited by different pickup companies out there. Great question though, I started teaching when I found pickup easier. It became something I really didn't have to think about and my success rate per set I opened was very good. I knew that on average the first set I opened that night i'd be with the rest of the night and likely close. Still just because you're good at pickup doesn't mean you'll be a good teacher. Anyways, then I just started out by mentoring guys on the forums. This was a good way to get hit with real world questions and see if my answers actually helped the invidual. This also allowed me to get better at learning how to relate the information I know to different personality types and learning styles. From there, I started helping guys on my local lair for free just to get some credibility and also to learn how best to help guys in the field. There was a lot I learned from doign this. After that, I did a weekend workshop with a friend of mine on the forum. I had to plan all the material, setup sarge locations, go out in field with the guys, etc. Then finally since that went well I setup shop and started charging guys for my ability to teach them how to meet women. |

For years I have been obsessed by the processes and applications of the psychological field of NLP (Neuro-Lingustic-Programming). The tools that have come out of this field that relate to influencing people to learn/act in certain ways have impacted the lives of millions of people, along with almost every successful "star" of the information-outlet industary of The Game". It taught me that when you are offering an information product, an experience, it is your responsibility to be precise about the impact of that experience upon those whom it affects. The concept of teaching expands and turns into a kind of trainning rather then just poruing knowledge out, in which case it may or may not really "mean" anything to those recieving it, and thus fail. However, when you "train", you use measurements to track progress of those being trained, and have a system for giving you pointers to serve as a guide to proceed and deliever on the promise of your teaching. I know a lot more about this, consider this just a littly tiny sand particle of knowledge from a whole world of ideas out there. If you are interested in joining together to seriously discuss the possibility of reaching a stage where you can teach this for a living and be really good at it, and deal in total certainity that is natural based on who you are, rather then mechanical based on what you force yourself to do, then contact me or add me on MSN, and I am sure there is plenty I can learn from you too. Remember, the only limits on what you "DO" (not talking about what you can or cant do), are those that either you place on yourself or you let others place on you... |
