Post subject:  Say the first thing that comes to your mind.
I've noticed that recently I've been saying whatever comes to my mind when I'm out, and it usually goes over real well. Obviously I know when to hold back certain things, it's not like the movie "Liar Liar" or anything. But all the jokes and funny comments I want to say, but used to second guess myself about, come out. I guess I just trust my own humor more than I did before. I've always been funny. But some of the funniest stuff I've said recently, is stuff other people can't believe I've said out loud.

yup this is a handy skill, I once opened like this and it went really well.

I just walked up without thinking and opened my mouth. I said "What are the most unattractive qualities a guy can have? it just a weird girl is stalking me around the club and I want to get rid of her"

one of my favourite lines was when i told a girl she looked like a stylish lumberjack...
also tellling a girl she looked like a disney princess received a cool reaction.

the confident, top of your head / context lines/openers work amazing, except, when i told a girl i thought 'she was cool... i like girls who look like lesbians' lol i had to charm my socks off to get a number close after that intro :P

be yourself, be natural, interesting and theres no need to rely on routines all the time. :)
