Sorin, interesting question. For me, knowledge speaks, wisdom listens. Quiet and eloquent is what I am aiming for. File |

Usually I'm quiet and shy (due to the fact that I dont like many people) BUT I have my spurts of being fearless and outspoken (because sometimes I dont give a fuck about others) |

I used to be very quiet and stoic, and I found that that works great one-one but not so great in a group. I found a happy medium though. Now I talk as much as I want, no more no less; but I have also learned to enjoy talking rather than fear it. Also I learned how fun it is to be brutally honest and open with people. So basically my advice is explore what it's like on both ends of the spectrum, then find a happy medium. This way at least you will be flexible enough to adjust to the situation, regardless which end is better suited. I have friends who are always loud and "on" even when its inappropriate, and I also have friends who are too quiet even when people want to talk to them. Be shapeless, formless, like water - Bruce Lee. |

The world is full of shy, timid, meek men. I'd much rather be outspoken, but a situational balance between the two is always best. ~Antithesis |
