Post subject:  Would you guys consider this natural game?

I've started learning about game not long ago and I'm not too into the idea of routines and what not. I used game to lose my virginity and I'm not sure if my style could be considered natural.
I don't use any canned stuff, but I internalize theories like cat string, cocky funny, group theory, push pull etc. I usually use made up on the spot situational openers because to be honest, I don't really care about who a random person thinks lies more. I don't really follow any steps like gain rapport, attraction, comfort and all that, sometimes I just assume attraction and rapport, some other time I try to build it up first. Would this fall under natural game?

Natural game means that you don't consciously think about theories/routines/whatever when sarging. You just go autipilot :D .

lol actually naturals DO think. They have their own little theories and methods they use, they have their own 'lines' and they pretty much developed these thigns over time without having to join a self-help community.

naturals do think. they also understand how people think a lot better than others do. they know what works and what doesn't and they are pretty much mPUAs who didnt join the community.

The term natural is a bit confusing. To be naturally awesome, (where natural is defined as produced by nature) say at football for example. You would have to be able to, having never even seen a football before, be skilled enough to play for Manchester United in the Champions League Final.

So in that sense no-one is a natural. Everyone who is good at something has learned it, either consciously or unconsciously through nurture not nature. Is there any difference between learning something consciously or unconsciously? If you're skill level is the same, mostly no. Except the guy who learned something unconsciously may not always be able to replicate it as he may not know how he does what he does.

People get confused because in The Game Strauss user the term to refer to someone who has learned to be good unconsciously. This doesn't fit the above definition of the term natural. But, natural has another meaning.

Nowadays most people in the community use the term natural to refer to someone who behaves authentically and improvises, rather than someone who has learned to be good unconsciously.

Natural (adj.) Genuine or spontaneous.

Naturals in this sense are those whose behaviours are genuine or spontaneous.

So, pillow_fight, if you are being genuine and spontaneous then, by definition, you are a natural. Irrespective of how you learned to be good.

Peace

I got your point, but I wasn't talking about that. Yeah, naturals have their methods and theories about women (infact, all guys have them ;) ), and I agree that they have good feeling of the situation they are in, but that wasn't my point.

What I meant was that most of the stuff naturals know is actually internalized and on subconscious level, so they don't actually "think" about it. Usually they just "come up" with the right thing to say.
