| Post subject: | Foreign Language game |
Hey Im going to Europe this spring break and two of the countries im going to are Spain and France, and I don't know Spanish and my French is very weak. I was wondering if anyone knows a way to game when there is a language barrier. Im guessing it would be mostly with body language and eye contact and stuff but I want other opinions and ideas. |

Hey mate, -Showcase your accent. Girls love a foreigner. -Make them laugh. This is easy because you're foreign. Just do some weird foreign shit. They will almost definately know some English so use lines like "In my country girls are more....xxx". Etc. -Approach/introduce yourself with a kiss on two cheeks. -Get them to teach you some of their language. Depending on calibration/comfort you can ask them to teach you some hot lines. -Get them to teach you how to say pickup lines. This one always cracks me up. -Use your body language and tone of voice. Speak slow but not patronising. Be confident and exuberant, show that you are comfortable with you two speaking differently. Use IOI's or qualifiers early because she has to know that it is actually possible for her to get with a foreigner, rather than her default dismissal because you don't undertand her fully. -Kino kino kino. Handshakes, kisses, hugs, high 5's, nudges, most kino is universal so take advantage of it. I love foreign game - I've got all sorts of girls from different countries to teach me different lines. I practically know how to pickup a girl in Polish now, I know some Swedish, Italian, Spanish, Danish, Swiss, and Lithuanian pickup lines too from girls. It's dead fun. Hope this helps. |

Hey, I am pretty new to the game but my first night out sarging (3 weeks ago) i got this french girl's number... I think you will find a lot of Spanish and particularly french, speak English to a conversational level as they learn it from an early age. This makes it really easy to talk to them as they want to try speakingEnglish. Anyway what Rafiel was saying is completely right, get them to teach you pick up stuff it works a charm, just joke around they tell you the line you will sure as shitmispronounce it.. it will be easy. Also because you don't know anywhere if you can drum up enough conversation and interest it shouldn't be too hard to number close get them to show you around etc. If they don't speak too much English its amazing how much you can get across through expressions and miming stuff out etc, also by doing this they are paying complete attention to you. As i mentioned i got this girls number all i said was maybe i can show you around etc and she asked for my number, and bought me a drink! so it can be easy. Good luck, let me know how it goes. A. |

Hi, my native language is not English. I observed that I am bolder in English than in my mothertongue. I dare to say outrageous things and make transgressive jokes. I do speak some Spanish too and flirted in that language. Well, I just spoke slowly and made mistakes but the girls liked it. So, don't worry. It's only difficult when you usually rely on routines and try to translate them somehow. That would be very weird. Kandid |

hey thanks for the advice you guys. Yeah It went pretty well I got some Spanish girl's number and what you guys said is true, a lot of the people in Spain and France did speak English to some degree so it was pretty easy to have basic convos and number close. I had the same effect as kandid as well, I also felt a bit bolder conversing with the girls there. I also noticed another funny thing; because we went for spring break, there were many more hot tourists around than locals, Im guessing maybe the local girls go away for spring break. |

There you go! It worked out in the end. Here's something that will be a great thing for you to do. Try to go out and learn some new languages. If you meet a foreign girl and they know you're American, and then you suddenly speak their language they'll be impress. I took Latin in highschool and even though it's a dead language it's the foundation for many modern day languages. That helped me out with a girl who spoke Spanish and right away she tried to build up kino with me when I made a comment in Spanish.

Dont bet on that they will understand or dare speak english...And the comment about using your accent means that you presuppose that he speaks the language well enough to say something in it. Apart from that, in my experience, if I know the language I always start doing the opener in english (it is a DHV to be english speaking and it sets a good frame). If they dont understand... Speak their language. If you dont speak anything at all and they dont speak english, you are more or less screwed, no communication, no pickup. Unless you can project your personality non verbally. If you are in a party, club etc, HAVE FUN! BE SEEN! SMILE!!!! BE ACTIVE!!!! And if they speak only a bit of english, use simple sentences, slow down. Use gestures. Act! Trust me, I got quite a lot of gaming girls I can barely sommunicate with... Ezo |

I really enjoyed this post because I´ve been in Germany for two weeks and have two left to go. Gestures and kino are important, but I believe negs play a significant role as well, so long as the girls understand the language you are speaking reasonably well. For example, If you are competing with other foreign males, you have to find something that sets you apart. Considering that most men are too beta to utilize negs, it will definetly illuminate your uniqueness from them. Make sure your negs are simple enough to understand in conversation or use non-verbal. If you are sitting on a couch, build a wall of pillows between the two of you and peek over stealthily to make her laugh. Push her away, and when she comes back give her a hug and tickle her. |

Ha ha, I love the pillow one! One that I use all the time is to form a cross sign with your fingers as if you are protecting yourself against a vampire. That and telling her that she is a bad girl, that is so simple that almost anyone can understand it. |

When my friend did PU in Japan, he just acted a fool and girls loved it He spoke decent Japanese, but sometimes a girl would say something and we'd all be like "Uhhh... what?" When I was there, I used it as an opportunity to practice my Japanese. |
