Nice Post.

It's true that Ronaldo has good skills on the field and to reach that level of skill you must have a strong passion, in this case for soccer, but this really applies to anything. In his case, his passion involves being really fit and being really popular which are things that are simultaneously attractive to girls and that is why he has many girls (especially teenage girls) going crazy for him and idolizing him as some kind of sensual God. Other people might have passions that might not involve being fit and/or being popular, take for example someone that has a passion for understanding all the physiological paths involved in plant development... You can be extremely passionate about that and still you won't pull as many girls as Ronaldo. Having a passion for something is always good, don't take me wrong. I believe that having a passion (for whatever it might be) gives meaning to your life and makes you feel motivated and enthusiastic (which are also attractive traits) but sometimes having a passion for something alone might not cut it.

Pick up is an art form too. You can be naturally good at it without too much effort just like some people can draw pretty good without ever going to a drawing class. But you can perfect your technique by studying and practicing. You should take both of these factors into account, but you cannot do just one and expect the best possible results. Going back to Ronaldo, yeah I'm sure he doesn't have a problem attracting girls. He probably doesn't even have to think about it because girls are lining up to get a piece of him. But for me that is not the "art" part in pick up art. That is just passive action. He has "traits" that pull girls towards him, but for those that are not as fit or as popular or whatever and they are not attracting the girls they want, they might still have to go back and study and practice the art of pick up which might just give them the extra oomph.

I was thinking of Ronaldo the other day. More specifically his ridiculous haircut. And I began to wonder… Why Ronaldo Will Steal Your Girlfriend Quick, make a list of the things you did today… -Woke up, -Played Call of Duty -Posted a motivational video on Facebook -Read CMP blog posts -Started making my life plan but ended up on the phone -Watched porn -Ate Burger King -Went to bed What do you think Ronaldo did? Honestly, look at his stupid haircut. What a mess. But do you think Ronaldo will ever lose his girlfriend to someone else? I mean really think about it. And don’t feed me that “he’s super good looking and rich” crap because plenty of guys are good looking, plenty of guys are rich and yet they can’t seem to keep a quality girl for the life of them. So what is it about guys like Ronaldo who can keep a woman enthralled for life? They Strive! Oh how they strive… I’m not a big soccer fan, but I do watch some K1 occasionally. Ever seen Giorgio Petrosyan in the ring? It’s fucking art. You see, when Ronaldo goes on the field, what he does is art. He’s so passionate, so immersed in what he’s trying to create, that when he steps on the field he is truly a master of his craft – rivaled by none. Do you think he sits around wondering why women don’t text him back? Or reading up tons and tons of new ‘material’ on how to talk to women? Do you think he overthinks his approach? Does he carefully guard what he says? That is the element that makes men great. That is what keeps quality women enthralled for years. That is the reason that women don’t call you back! Where is your edge? I talk about this often but few listen. Sure you’ve taken up a passion or two since reading my blog. You might have made a couple aesthetic changes and now you’re back going ‘what’s the next step?’ There is none. You skipped it! What I’m talking about is being so completely lost in your passions, so totally devoted to achieving something larger than yourself that you literally do not even have the time to think about that girl who isn’t texting you back! You don’t even have to be as great as Ronaldo, it’s not the end result that matters, it’s the striving, that fuel that never runs out, that makes a man attractive. Ronaldo still practices, probably every single day. Jason Statham works out in his hotel rooms while traveling. Stephen King sets a timer and writes every. single. day. No exception. You see, a low quality woman will stick around for the shiny things. She will want the finished product but will leave when there’s something shinier. A quality woman will be there to support you in your goal at first. Here’s the kicker: A really high-quality woman will test you when you are weak, and will give you her support when you no longer need it. Now before you spit your coffee out at your screen and write me angry emails, take a deep breath. This is a good thing. Why? Because a high quality woman will not tolerate weakness from you. This isn’t a hollywood movie – a grown ass man should no longer need mommy to tell him he’s a good boy. A good woman wants to be a part of your success, she wants to look at you as the epitome of achievement, she wants to witness you shining! So yeah, despite his ridiculous haircut, who on earth is dumb enough to leave a man like Ronaldo? A man with tunnel vision, with pride, with a goal so large God himself would have to stand in his way. THAT is a man that can be trusted. THAT is a man to look up to. Get up. Get the fuck up right now, and stop whatever you are doing. Turn Facebook off, stop playing Dota 2 and start achieving – start pouring 110% of yourself into accomplishing something that will make the world a better place. Leave behind your gift. If a girl actually sees your passion for something, she'll be attracted almost the same way as she'd be attracted to Ronaldo. Only difference here is, that you'd have to SHOW YOUR PASSION to her in some way. In Ronaldo's case, he doesn't need to show how passionate he is. He just is and the whole world knows it, since he's a celebrity. That's where your point is valid about his specific profession. But as for what attracts a girl, a girl is attracted to passionate people in general, even if your passion is about plant development or being a scientist. (Hopefully if you're not like Einstein or Sherlock Holmes)

The example I gave about being passionate about the physiological paths in plant development is just a very random one that I came up with to try to emphasize my point, but I can come up with many more examples that would be even better at doing that and that would actually not be very attractive to most girls. I remember I had a supervisor who was passionate about collecting limited edition action figures still in the box, never opened. He was in his 40's and he wasn't shy about talking about this hobby of his, and yet he wasn't very popular with the ladies. What about people who are passionate about playing video games. They play them because they like them and some people take it very seriously, passionate would describe their feelings, the author of this thread himself emphasizes how people need to get up and leave the games to the side, so he knows consciously or unconsciously that there are some "passions" that are not gonna get you laid very often. Now I am not saying you should stop doing what makes you happy, but if you end up being unhappy because somehow your "passion" is not fulfilling your happiness entirely, then maybe you should go back and analyze and determine what you need to sacrifice in order to get what you really like. Maybe you can find a middle-ground, or you determine that you need to change your passion in order to get something else that you want. But that is everyone's personal decision to make.
