Post subject:  Using the number close as a screening device
I'm at the point where I never get blown out of sets anymore, because I establish more social value than the girls, and it would be socially akward for them to not listen and engage with me. However, if I don't think that I can pull a girl from a set, I'll opt for a number close. A few times recently, I have tried something a bit different. Rather than taking her number, I will give her my number and tell her to text me in a semi-commanding tone.

I think this serves two functions: 1) it's making her invest in me, because she's admitting that she likes me by texting me, and 2) it functions to screen out the girls who merely did not reject me because I had higher social value than she did.

Do you guys think this makes sense? Is it possible that I'm missing out on hotties because they're too lazy or forgetful to text me? Or does this screening device sound like a good idea?

Out of the 4 girls I've tried this technique on, 2 have texted me, and they are not flakes so far.

What I do is tell the girl to put their number in my phone, then I call them then and their to make sure its really theirs.

Personally, I like my way, because I will know I have their number, and have a better chance of getting the girls who did not text you to contact me by using a curiosity hook and building up attraction over the phone with nlp and crap. But in all honesty. Just do whatever works for you man. If you like your idea, stick to it. For me it's not over till it's over. Having their number allows the possibility for another chance.

They could have not texted you for multiple reasons. The reasons are endless. They could have met another guy they really liked at the club. You might have not built up enough compliance or attraction for them to text you back. It could be because of whatever. On the bright side you're the shit and they're missing a chance with you and that is their loss. :)

It's pretty easy to not get blown out, actually. I only approach sets of 3 girls or less. I time my approaches for when they look bored. A good indication of this is when no one is talking, or if the hot one is scanning the bar rather than paying attention to her friends. I'll walk over in a straight path to the hottest one, and be very straight up and unapologetic. I make it clear that I have sexual intentions, but also that I'm a fun guy. I maintain an energy level that is slightly above the girls' energy level so that they are always catching up to me. I say fun and interesting things that make them laugh and probably make them glad that I walked over and saved them from their apparent boredom.

Once I have the hot one hooked (anime eyes), I start qualifying her while building rapport. This always will be dependent on the girl, if she's smart and can keep up then I will qualify her with praise. If she's slow/ drunk, I will make fun of her lightly mixed with light physical escalation.

Eventually it gets to a point where I can pull the girl out of the set or not. If not then I will go for a number OR give her my number, as I have been doing recently.

Throughout this entire interaction, I'm staying one step ahead of all the girls, while maintaining a implicit frame along the lines of "if you respond to me negatively, you're a social retard and your friends will be mad at you for making this fun guy go away."

Also, by not getting blown out, I mean not getting explicitly rejected. I still miss targets when they flake or if the logistics don't work out

Thanks for the info man. I'll have to give that a shot when it's not snowing down here :)
