I'm wondering how I can improve my conversation skills. I do notice that sometimes I cut people off sometimes kinda waiting to speak you know. That is mostly with my friends though, so that's one thing I have to focus on. I now know its better to ask open ended questions then a yes or no one. What else can I sharpen up on to be better at any conversation on any topics? This is also to help out anyone else who is having the same issues. |

Btw a lot of people I meet say I'm charming and so I guess if I do interrupt them I most not be that bad enough. Plus sometimes you might want to interrupt to get a mood or vibe across, but very subtle. I do listen to people and what they have to say especially if its emotional problems. How can I use that to my advantage? |

There are two keys, listen and the word "you". Listen to what other people are saying and talk about them, not yourself unless you are being funny or it's something actually interesting (this is hard to judge best to jus focus on talking about others). Oh and whatever you do, regardless of what your friends say, do NOT interrupt people when they are speaking. Unless its a girl and you are stopping them to make fun or kiss close or something. I swear when people interrupt me when I'm talking it makes me want to bitch slap them. Stop doing it right away. |
