As far as i can see, the main reason for social anxiety and necessity for game is just the fact that people don't hang out with friends enough to develop social skills. So, correct me if I am mistaken, but shouldn't there be material on helping you to MAKE and keep good friends of the same sex, and the more delicate things like how to arrange casual social meets the proper way, do's and don'ts when hanging with new friendship groups etc. (The girls will follow!) Personally this is a topic that has troubled me for the last couple of years. I recently switched colleges so had to make new friends with people that had already known each other for 6+ years.. I found myself, (after a lot of effort) with many friends, but no really close friend(s) that I am completely comfortable with and hang around regularly with. I am socially ept (pretty much) and when I was younger was always hanging out with close friends, but now whenever the weekend/holiday comes I feel lonely. There are 2 different groups of friends that I mainly hang out with, but am at the 'core' of neither of them which I feel I need to be as I am actually a very extrovert personality. One group is obsessed with football which I really dont care about at all, and the other has some cool guys in it but I feel i only connect with very few of them and never really get the chance to get to know them - its a very large new college I am attending.. Anyone want to share any advice/thoughts/opinions? Gaming girls for mindless sex isn't the only thing I would hope to get out of learning game... Sorry if its a lot to read, i really appreciate any helpful tips/thoughts/experience etc. |

I'm in a similar situation. I live in a very small place where after school all my friends moved country- it's true! And I was left with people who are cool but aren't proper friends but they've all been friends for years...and they're about 2-3 years younger than me so sometimes I feel to old for them. Interested to hear from others about this. |

If you improve your game your social life will get an upgrade too. You will become 'cool' and people will want to be friends with you. True story. |

Yeah but improving your game is a lot easier when you have friends to go out/hang with etc - to be honest your game wont be real if you go out on your own and use gaming stranger women as 95% of your social interactions - it just wont work. |

if anyone has tried and trusted avdivce/tips for how to infiltrate a group of close friends and become one of them or has knowledge of the topic/material on the topic me and titan would be very glad to hear it, and others too im sure! Thanks |

Kind of true but not entirely. Befriend the alpha male, once everyone accepts you (or at least the core of the group) you can try to take over his position.
