Okay, what's the point of these openers, aren't these AFC? How do you work these without sounding like a nervous wreck |

The point of them is to start a conversation, that's all you want, then move on from there. |

No such thing as an "AFC opener". No such thing as a good opener either. Actually, it doesn't matter what you open with - what matters is what you do after the opener. Also, how you say something is more important than what you say. |

Observational openers are great because they are non-threatening and you can use them to open any girl without it seeming like you hit on them. I've walked down the strip in Vegas(recently) and just joked about some observations and was opened by a girl, by that I mean she introduced herself and asked for my name. Tone is very important and your body language when you make statements should be right. A lot of the observations I use are body language related, I make a statements about their body language. So this shows them I can understand them, and I can relate their body language to kids so I bring them back to that feeling they had when they are kids. I have used this several times and it works pretty well. All you are doing is pointing out the idiosyncratic behaviors they have, their little quirks that no one else notices. Just my thoughts. |

Ok, maybe that's a stretch. But it's very hard for me to read it, AND it's hard for me to "convey" the right body language as well. Now, I've HEARD my body language was good, but that was someone who just saw a video of me talking. It's easy to be comfortable in that type of setting. But live in-field meeting girls, that's a different story. I have NO IDEA how I come across in those situations. |

situational and observational openers, are a natural way to start a conversation, nothing is forced, you just use the surroundings to open the girl, and she knows it was a natural meeting and not you just ''trying to pickup girls with lines'' because the opener is relevant to the situation, for example you are in line at the grocerie store and point out something in a girls cart and say something about it, she talks about it, you cut the thread and move on to a conversation, she knows it wasn't planned, it just happened |

Read some books on body language and you will start to understand people, pay attention to people and what they do and before you know it you will understand people immensely. You will understand that we send a message with our body language and you will understand they send one with theirs, it is up to you to simply understand them.Ok, maybe that's a stretch. But it's very hard for me to read it, AND it's hard for me to "convey" the right body language as well.
