1 a person regarded as having an innate gift or talent for a particular task or activity

When it comes to girls past a certain level of looks I basically choose them based on their character. I mean if there is a HB9 with a really rubbish personality and a HB8 that we have a lot of things in common i would choose the 8. Also sometimes i might want to fuck a HB7 that is dressed and acts really sexy, more than i would a perfect HB10 that is kinda reserved. i really like pretty girls, but to connect with her on another level is just as important to me.

Which brings me to my thoughts on natural game. Reading stuff about pick up routines, openers, dhvs, etc. when you're "in field" you have alert senses, looking around for sets and you might approach people that if you weren't in that mindset of a PUA you wouldn't actually want to talk to. I might for example talk to an Essex Girl just because i feel it's my responsibility to seduce every HB in the horizon.:roll: Which is not necessarily a bad thing, it's practice, but it's just a waste of my time, and also a rejection from her might put me in a negative state of mind and i may then fail to approach a girl i might actually like.

So, the realisation I came to is incorporate all these acquired skills i learn from this community, but to pick my targets like i would before reading "The Game". Otherwise the interactions seem contrived and fake. Being a natural is about following your instincts, and when I talk to a girl I desire is when I am myself, spontaneous and unforced. This isn't really anything profound, but I find that when you come to these breakthroughs yourself it really alters your attitude.

Yeah, I agree. Natural feelings of attraction are important for coming off well.

I would like to caution people not to allow this policy to keep them from approaching, or give them an excuse to eject. Never let "oh she's not my type" or "I don't like her enough" limit your progress.

I don't see how it would. When i go with the flow I actually approach more girls than when i'm pressuring myself to approach every hot girl i see.

This is a good post. The rules are there for a reason but I think some rules are a little obscure. They mite be assumming your an absolute afc so if u do feel u have game then of course you should follow your own instincts. Still step out your comfort zone though try new things as thats proven to lead to improvement.

I totally agree. Myself, I usually look at the ones that aren't my type a bigger challenge and attraction can be built on such a larger scale. Translation: Mind-blowing results if you can game it.

I never said don't approach girls that aren't your type. In fact it may take about a month to find a girl that is exactly my type, the girls I interact with are beautiful, cute or just seem interesting. But in this post I'm talking about the mindset you have when you go out.

Some guys may approach initially some girls for practice, that they don't care so much about. Which I think is playing it safe, because getting a rejection from them wouldn't hurt their ego. But I prefer to immediately go and talk to a girl I fancy, even if I haven't previously warmed up with other sets and even if she rejects me. It's exhilarating and even if she rejects me I feel good for myself for at least trying and I'm more confident and I do better with the next girl I meet.

I like how in the original post "following your instincts" was mentioned as an important part of developing natural game (or something like that). I totally agree with this.
Elaborating a little further, the routines/lines/yada of a particular system can seem fake but it does do 2 things if approached correctly:

1.) It helps someone starting out minimize the crash and burn of rejection and slowly build up their confidence +success, helping them transition away from 'AFC' status to 'PUA' status - sort of like a training wheel when learning to ride a bike.

2.) If modded to match your life - it provides a "structure" or "map" or "gameplan", but by being congruent with who you are the sliminess/fakeness is gone because you actually are being genuine.

Building up enough field experience helps you develop and "wake up" your instincts, and approaching a method like the MM modded to match your life will, in effect, make you a natural but with the slickness + preparedness of a PUA...oooooo weee you're on fire tonite ! lol :-)

The danger in this all is purely the fact that you don't approach at all.

Still - ask yourself the question - why do you approach or what stops you from approaching?

A lot of people give Natural game as an excuse for not approaching at all.
"She's not my type"
"I'm not interested"

Even though your body clearly states that you are. Natural game isn't based on approaching and to be honest - to even call it a sort of game is wrong.
