Post subject:  You're a Jerk!! (The ULTIMATE Response)

Hey Guys,

Haven't posted in awhile but recently discovered something awesome. I've been testing the limits of teasing my female friends and I think I've discovered something quite useful. Sometimes we all overstep our teasing boundaries and get the "YOU'RE A JERK" line. This USED to stump me, but considering the situations I was in, I'm willing to bet this will work anytime you over do the teasing.

Scenario one, 1 friend was pregnant and I was joking about how she had scrubbed out in sweatpants (normally, this would have been the end all of teasing her, right? Wrong!)

HB 8: "You're a jerk! You NEVER tell a pregnant woman she has SCRUBBED OUT!"
Saroza: "(Her Name), pregnant or not, you'll get no special SPAM from me. (wink) I like you just the same."
HB 8: "Haha I like that (smiles) thanks Saroza, no longer a jerk or a butthead."

Scenario two, 1 friend and I are chatting casually and she mentions she is having a bad day, but fails to explain why, I didn't care to remind her about it by asking, and continue teasing her. I tease this girl really hard ALL the time, but I guess I had said something that really irked her and get:

HB7: "HEY, be nice to me, I'm having a really shitty day because I just had a chunk of my head scraped off for a cancer screening."
Saroza: "(Her Name), cancer or not, you'll get no special SPAM from me. (wink) I like you just the same."
HB7: "Aww, thanks Saroza, that is the nicest thing you've said to me today."

The Equation:

HB: "You're a Jerk! (gives excuse for you to be nice to her)"
PUA: "(Her Name), (reason to be nice to her) or not, you'll get no special SPAM from me. (wink) I like you just the same."

This will be one of the most thoughtful responses to her calling you a "Jerk" "Asshole" etc, she has ever heard.

Heck, I'm willing to bet it will EVEN WORK for the PMS excuse.

HB: "Don't talk to me, I'm PMSing"
PUA: "(Her Name), PMSing or not, you'll get no special SPAM out of me. (wink) I like you just the same."

Take it or leave it guys. Treat everyone equally! None of their excuses for being nice to them work anymore. You can save yourself if you've gone too far!

That's too generic a reply.

Hope those women you give them to, don't discuss these things with each other. Otherwise it'd be a clear case of "He said that to you too?!!" and you don't wanna be a part of that.

Hey Don,

If it is to generic, do you have any recommendations to spice it up? We should totally be constructive, if we're going to critique.

These girls do talk to each other, in fact, I delivered the same line to the second girl (about a day later) while the first girl was standing there. No problems ensued, I continued gaming. Lol.

I can't 'spice it up'. It's just the same line repeated over and over.

Sooner or later, someone will recognise it's re-usage by you over and over.

Saying, "That's a beautiful dress." and "Hey there, that dress looks lovely by the way." are conveying your admiration of the said dress, yet they are worded pretty differently.

Keep the sentiment in the line but tweak it when using it with different people, so that while the idea is the same behind it the words are quite different.

This constructive enough?

im with saroza i love the direct approach with women. women can always read your emotional state and when you say things like thats a nice dress like all AFC's seem to say (although im NOT putting you in that category don!!!) they switch off. but when you speak your mind and truth they listen.. especially when it's a direct line when their emotions are high! - also.. this seems to me like a take it or leave it thing.. as in your not terribly bothered if they leave because your comfortable and confident enough to be this way! women get attracted by this very much.

Haha, this is totally a follow up, for Don.

I had the 2nd HB over the other day and guess what she says...

2nd HB: "You know that thing you said to (1st HB) the other day. That was really sweet of you to not look at her any differently just because she is having a baby."

She didn't even realize that I used the SAME line on her. Lol.

Maybe it was luck, but just wanted to follow up for you.

this brings back a memory of an opener i heard a while back.. while opening a 3-set for example ignor the HB you want and impress her friends... then turn to her and pop : if i wasn't gay i'd be SOO into you!

now in this example the women selectively (remember women listen to what they want when their guards are up and armed) attends to the last part of the statement because it makes her feel good.

as in this case with the same line.. 2nd HB will like that you made 1st HB feel good and that is what she'll remember!

If a girl says "You're a jerk" then you just say "I know".

she'll then tell you again, and you reply with your previous answer. Repeat this about 10 times and you've just created a chorus to a song which sold millions.

"I know" isn't bad, but I'd rather not hope for her to repeat.

I would go with something more like this...

"I know, why are you so attracted to jerks?"

Catch her off guard.
