| Post subject: | OFFICE GIRL WITH BOYFRIEND |
Hi Guys Here is the deal. I have no problem opening up women and starting attraction. My issue here is avoiding the FZ with being too nice. There is a girl at my office who has been here for a month now. I talked to her the first day and even got her Facebook & Yahoo. I try every day to have face to face interaction with her in hopes to start kino & escalate the sexual tension. Now here are my obstacles, she is very nice to all the guys in the office so everyone talks to her. Also she is the receptionist at the front of the office so calls always interrupt. Finally she has a boyfriend but I'm unsure the level of their relationship. Now she's my type of girl but I'm still going out sarging in NYC anyway for practice and closes. What I need here is any BFD's or recommendations to build up the sexual tension without getting fired or fucking up our current relationship. Oh plus she always asks me questions while I avoid talk about myself as much as possible. |

Well, if you're behaving the same way as all the guys are, you'll get the same response from her end i.e. she's nice to 'everyone', you included. You want her to be something different to you, attracted isn't nice and vice-versa. First thing you need to do here is to tell her, in a subtle but direct way, that you are interested in exploring something more with her. Also, find out more about her boyfriend situation, that might give you a better idea about how to proceed with her. All that being said fact remains, there's a line between professional and personal. Mix those two up and you're in deep shit, sooner or later. Good luck. |

Okay sweet, we're in a similar situation. There is this new girl at my work (I'm a dietary aide for the elderly) and she is in the activities department. So I only have very brief moments with her, like when she comes to get coffee. The first day I completely ignored her, even when her boss introduced me "Have you met HB 7?" I continue walking towards the elevator "NOOOOOPE" (very loudly exaggerated as if I was too busy and didn't care. The next time I see her looking for coffee bags for the grinder. "SHEESH, HOW LONG HAVE YOU WORKED HERE!?" and throughout the next couple days, I continue teasing. Out of nowhere I decide to ask her "WHERE IS MY FRIENDSHIP BRACELET, we can't be friends without one!" she laughs and says "Oh don't worry, I'll make you one." The next day "Hey (Her Name), where is my bracelet?" .... "WHAT YOU DON'T HAVE IT!?" "YOU'RE MY WORST ENEMY NOW, how is your evil laugh?" She lets out this very weak laugh and I laugh at her and walk away. 1 day off SHE THROWS MY BRACELET AT ME TODAY. Her: "I made you one with pretty pink and purple stars!" Me: "GEE THANKS, I'll cherish it FOREVER" Next Day Her: "Where is my friendship bracelet?" Me: "I keep it right here, (point to shirt pocket) in the pocket closest to my heart." (said tongue in cheek). 1 day off "Hey (Her Name), you're a pretty shitty evil villian, you haven't even tried to blow up the world yet!! I'm demoting you to super hero, I'm the bad guy now! HERE. (I put my number on a piece of paper, cut it into little puzzle pieces, but kept the last number so she couldn't solve it) You're going to have to solve this puzzle or the world is going to EXPLODE!" and I walk away. 1 day off. Me - "Hey you STILL haven't figured out that puzzle!?" Her - "I'm almost done!" Me - "You're a HORRIBLE super hero, I want my number back" Her - "What!? No, I'm going to solve it." Me - "It is a 10 piece puzzle! Come on! A third grader could have solved that by now." Her - "Well someone only gave me 9 PIECES!" Me - "Yeah, did you think I'd give you my number THAT easily?" Her - "Yeah who wouldn't? (smiles)? Me - "If you want the last piece then you're going to have to win it from me" (as I turn and walk away). Her - "Thats if I even want it!" (but it was too late I had walked off.) I have 2 days off now. I'll go back on Thurs and make her play the lying game to win that last number, when she loses she'll owe me a coffee. She has a boyfriend that the older activities lady keeps mentioning around me but I've already told that lady that "I don't play fair" and especially since HB has completely and utterly failed to mention him to me. Lol. |

That stuff may work for you but this is a New York girl. women out here are a little more defensive about men's intentions. I'll give you guys an update since my original post. Now I try to avoid to be like every guy in the office. I'm well dressed with cologne and recently came back from a trip tp Puerto Rico. I go out every friday night looking for new places in NYC that will have attractive women. So my lifestyle isn't surrounded by a single woman these days. My Office target still have a boyfriend who she claims to love. There are times she's on amazon ordering shoes for him or talking for hours on the phone with him or family. So what I do is treat her like any employee in the office with hi's and bye's. She's naturally very friendly and a geek as a person. These personality traits have my attention to her more than any girl lately. So when she starts a conversation about watching a show or when she's curious about my opinion I'll provided it to a point. Now I feel I have to wait things out. Her relationship must be new or recent for her to be all over him so suddenly. I met the guy once after hours when we all went out for drinks (co-workers & friends). Before he arrived my target and I were flirting. She even offered to buy me a drink after I gave her a ride in my car to the location. I saw a ring on her finger that was interesting for a discussion. She takes the ring off to show me and as soon as I get it I think to role play and kino at the same time. I placed the ring back on her finger slowly to imply a wedding ring proposal. Immediately my friends from work who are 2 attractive women tease about us getting engaged and when is the wedding. I laugh and say "didn't U get the invitation?" and then we all laugh. Everything was great until her BF arrives and her attention is on him. Best move I could think of is get information about him directly to know my competition. I can tell they're different people and he seems to distance himself from her in public. I predict she will feel neglected in the future and consider someone new. Of course I wish to be that new person & maintain attraction until that day. If there is a way to make her feelings more natural of a transition would be my ultimate goal. Any words are welcomed and experiences to share. |

kill the sarcasm. it's the lowest form of humor for a reason, it's also very bad for attraction unless you're insanely funny - which you (and most men, like me) aren't so it just comes off mean / negative.

Actually, don't. You're playing the game right and she's following your lead. It seems like she's enjoying it because it gets her away from the monotonous routine you guys go through at work. Keep us updated.

I agree with Domr that there is a lot of push, but it was working: 1.) she was the only girl her age working at this place and had the attention of everyone (her and I are in our twenties, everyone else is near forty). she had the men wrapped around her finger HB - "could you do 'X' for me" and they would. 2.) the amount of push (sarcasm) was reasonable here because I gave her a challenge, the pull was light (hey I want my number back) lets her know I gave her my number, but she would have to work for it. 3.) update: # closed her before leaving for college semester, got a steady gf during semester, she got fired before I came back, chose not to pursue. |
