So I have been thinking lately about trying to sarge some chicks that I know. I have a rule about not trying to hook up with girls that I consider friends, as I don't want to deal with any of the awkwardness that comes with that. However I know a good number of rather attractive girls that I don't consider off limits that would require little to no effort to open. They would be classified as acquaintances I guess. If they see me hanging out somewhere they are going to come up and say hello and there will a little bit of bull shit small talk, but I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on material to use after you are already taking to these types of girls. Random small talk isn't going to get you anywhere so there has to be a way to comfortably transition off of that. |

Id only sarge girls that I know if I was out partying with them because who doesn't go a little crazy at parties? I wouldn't do things much differently than I would if I was trying to pick up a randomer, negs, kinos, the usual, but there are disadvantages as well as advantages with sarging girls you know, main advantage is that you don't need an opener seeing as they already know you and you probably have a few conversation starters but the main disadvantage would be that if you sarge a lot of them and word spreads you could get a bad reputation which is a PUA's worst nightmare meaning that youll find it difficult sarging more because they would be cautious of you but if you're only wanting to sarge a few this shouldn't be a major concern, if you decide you wanna sarge them and need techniques because youre not tooo sure about how to go about it reply to this and ill be happy to try and help you Sky |

The hardest part here is the pressure to remain congruent. Any time I try to pick up girls I already know from when I was a complete AFC (rather than a rAFC) there are 2 ways it'll generally go. One way, great, no problems at all, and their key statement is "You've changed so much!" The other way, badly, and this is often when I'm with other people I know from before PU. I feel this pressure to remain congruent with the AFC that they've already met, especially when we tell stories. From that starting point it becomes almost impossible to comfortably turn it around, I feel off balance and any move I try to make that should work, doesn't, because it doesn't seem congruent to them. |

That is really what I was thinking. I have never tried to use the pick up knowledge on any girls that I knew before I discovered pick up about a year ago. The good news is I have lived out of state of the large majority of the time and am just now moving back so I have a good amount of time to account for me having changed, but I am still wondering how me acting different would effect their perception of me. I fear that, like you said, I may end up feeling off balanced and end up acting like my old AFC self as to not make them feel weird.

There are only between 1-3 girls that I am really interested in trying this on at the moment. If it fails miserably then I will have learned that sarging friends isn't a good idea, and if it works out great then I will have gotten to do a pick up with out having to use any openings or anything.
