Post subject:  HB10 Aproached Me & I'm Choking
So an HB 10 comes into the place I tend bar part time by herself. Grabs a drink, a bite to eat and I mingle a little. Find out she just moved to town, doesn't know anyone so I invite her to a ballgame with a group in a few weeks. The next day is a gorgeous day. I shoot her a txt & we end up meeting up for coffee by the lakefront. Go for a walk, chat a little, keep the conversation light and fun. It’s about time to wrap things up. I invite her to grab a bite at a different part of town, she excepts. We drive separately cause I had to drop off the dog. Have a drink and bite to eat. Over conversation find out she's not super excited about being here also find out she's just gotten out of some relationship. I didn't council, just got some facts, and didn't dive in asking more info. (My PUA skill have improved and I have been doing pretty well with 7-9's.) I failed to get any Keno escalation (I think I was hesitant because I could sense her loneliness and desire for no-expectations type companionship. I KNOW, this can lead to FRIEND ZONE.)

Today I shot her a playful txt:

Thanks for boring the shit out of me yesterday. Hope you had more fun at your party last night (She had to study) Maybe next time we can do something a little more fun like watching snail races.

Got and gave a few playful responses back and forth. Then I had stuff to do and let it be. Latter in the evening we had another exchange of playful texts. BUT THEN I GOT THE... (this is just a tad bit of the convo)

ME:
You know what I like about you?

Her:
What?
That you can be mean to me and I will still be your friend because I don't have any

Me: (Sent the same time I got the 2nd part of previous text.)
Nothin' ;) oh, shit! Hahaha.
Why you gotta guilt a guy?

Her:
I'm done with you
Haha I'm not serious.. if you haven't figured that out yet this is going to be one rough friendship.

Little do I have to say, I HAVE BEEN thrown into the friend zone on day 2.

The previous day on the patio she said that she was newly single and that she is looking forward to enjoying it for a bit.

This was a dagger in my pride. I haven't heard the "friend" comment in a couple years. Mybe sometimes but not where I actually believed it. My question is how do I go about developing a relationship with someone who doesn't know anyone, needs a friend, (I DO NOT WANT TO BE THAT GUY) and appears to want nothing to do with any type of physical or intimate relationship?

Suggestions men, please!

The thing is you don't go about having a relationship with this sort of person. Its bound to end quickly and not on good terms. You be far better off having her as a friend and using her looks to get hotter girls. I am not saying you have to be that friend who she comes to with all her problems, but a friend she goes out to bars and what have you.

I don't think she's necessarily friend-zoned you. Sounds like the girl is capable of C/F interaction, maybe she's just being playful and mentioning friendship is just a little shit test. I would totally disregard her saying that and continue to have fun with her. If you can sense she's not ready for any romance now, let it be. Hang out with her and just don't be an AFC. There is a general belief here that a girl will friend zone you if you don't fuck her as soon as possible. That may be true a lot of the times, but from my experience a girl will put you in one of two little boxes sex-potential and no-sex-potential. If you're in the first box, there is no reason this can't happen later. But that's just my opinion.

Thanks Peeps! I'm going to go out with her in the next night or two. I won't act AFC like and just see how it plays out. Good idea ti think that you could use the relationship to attract others if things pan out that way. Will keep you posted.

So we met up again. I took some of your guys advice. I figured if all fails and there is no love conection she will be a great asset to attracting other women. We had a blast. Had some playful banter previuosly via txt then ended up going out for some sushi. I gave a couple of suggestions before we went out and her reply was "I don't care, anywhere I can meet some people" unfortunatly this night I really had no social plans nor did any of my friends. Shee was still eager to get out and made a call for sushi which we new wasn't going to be more of a date SPAM.

We had fun, great conversation, a little kino here and there. In all truthfullness I didn't think I was in the friend zone but I also didn't think this was ending in a night of bliss.

This morning I had decided to txt her. We have been doing a lot of teasing via txt but have better, more adalt like convo in person, playful but not as sarcastic as txts.
(It was a bad weather day)
Me: 8:10 AM
These are the kind of days why I live in XXXXXXX Gorgeous! Have a crappy day!

Her: 8:19 AM
Hahaha, I so didn't want to go to work today! I felt like I talked way too much last night. So next time ur doing all the talking.

Me: 9:27 AM
Whoa, whoa, whoa... Hold on there slugger. "Next time"!?!?! You bored the crap out of me twice this week with endless chatter and you think there will be a next time :P

I didn't hear back from her after that. I know, I may not have to be so SACASTIC nd tease her all the time but it has worked. She seems to have lowered her gaurd down.

Plus I told her about an event that is going on where I tend bar tomorrow. I said she should come in when I dropped her off so she should know it was a tease. She can work long hours so I'll see if anything transpires over the next day or two.
