Post subject:  Need advice/Input

Greetings guys,

I am a college freshman, and I want to be a musician.

I'm planning on approaching a girl in one of my classrooms tomorrow. She always keeps to herself, and I haven't seen her talking to anyone else(she seems to be shy). Anyway, she wants to become a pastor. I was thinking about something along these lines:

Me: Hi, I need your input on something
Her: Ok
Me: According to the career webpage, musicians have a better shot at finding a job if they are involved in a religious organization. I've never been to a church, so my question is how do you get to play in a church?
Her: blah, blah

What would be the best way to go about it?
Should I insert a neg? If so, where? Also, should I ask for some sort of contact information phone, FB, or should I not ask until the semester is over?

Feel free to correct or add anything you feel should be corrected or added.

Any and all advice, or comments will be greatly appreciated.

Not okay IMO
Idk if you really do want to join a band but your opener doesnt feel right to me. Youre using an indirect approach so im not sure if youre comfy w/ direct but try it.:

Hey, weve been in this class for ____ months and do really talk i wanted to see how youre doing.

If you need some more indirect practice there is some thread about college game around here somewhere; keep me posted though

First of all, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to read, and reply to this bro. I really appreciate it.

I really do want to join/start a band, that's why I was kind of thinking it would be best to approach her with that. I also found out she plays the guitar.

I was going to approach her today, but she didn't show up for school lol

I will definitely try the direct approach.

We've never actually talked though, so should I use the exact words as you put them?

Hey man,

I'm also in college, and have great opening game.... its midgame where I lack.

I was just in this situation, with a quiet girl who never spoke in class.
-I asked to borrow a pencil, and we had like a 15 minute convo before class.

If I were you, I'd try one of 2 things (IMO college game is very different, because girls are soo used to guys who are frat boy dicks or too shy to speak, calm and natural works well).

Try, "Hey, you don't play music, do you??" (If she know u know, say "Hey, you play the guitar right?"

I would probably just say... "I got a question for yah.... So, I'm trying to start this band and.... (some random pointless open ended question).

See if it works.... far from a MPUA here, just a college socialite.

Use the fact that your both into music as a way to open.
Something like
"I heard you play guitar...are you in a band?/ im trying to start a band" etc

Then your gonna need to transition to another topic and run some kino build attraction etc otherwise she will think thats all you wanted to talk about and you will end up in the LJBF zone. you said she was quiet and shy so if you use negs dont go too harsh as she may not be used to it and feel uncomfortable.

After you have built some attraction, if shes giving you ioi's you can go down the direct aproach and tell her that she has always caught your eye because of..... throw in a little compliment (if shes between 8-10 nothing on appearence coz she will have heard it all before) it could be something like her intelligence or if you have heard her play and shes good tell her! Use what you like about her, i dont know her so you have to figure that oe out on your own. Whatever you do don't give her a compliment that you don't believe, because she will know!

Thats basically what i would do, hope it helped and good luck

Dan
