| Post subject: | How to isolate Groups at University |
So Last night I was at a friends University and everyone is basically just outside in groups standing around. Typically all the groups were about 4 if only 1 gender, and twice the size if sets got merged. So i'm new to being a PUA, but my crew was significantly worse. I would try to hook a group of 4 and then my 3 mates would come in early and ruin whatever I had going because they would just stand there (although if they did say something it would often be to Dhv me). But the other problem was, even though I had little problem opening the groups, if it was just me talking to the 4 of them, I found it hard to carry on the convo past a cocky/funny feeling. Isolation was near impossible (or so it seemed) and sooner or later the jokes would get old and they would move on. So my questions are, how can you build rapport in that situation? How can you isolate is that situation? Should I try to introduce my friends who literally just kind of stand there? |

defintly defintly defintly introduce your friends. If they're there, and come over, it is totally weird and awkward, and unless you introduce them, you are on a time limit before it gets too awkward. Plus introducing them, puts you in alpha position; you are in charge, and its great and all the girls can see you're popular (and are alpha). plus them being introduced means they will then talk to them, hopefully if you've engaged them they will ask some questions about them, and THEN you can get some one on one time. If they try and diss you or whatever like that (i dont know what Dhv means... I assumed it meant like diss or take the piss out of you), its even better really, I think at least. Its an opportunity to show you can laugh at yourself: they say something bad, just crack up laughing admit whatever it is, and try to make a joke out of it (unless they say you've been sleeping around with loads of women, and then just be relaxed and tell them to shut up, they don't know what they're talking about...) |

Yeah thats good advise. I like the idea of making the introductions, thats definitely alpha It just sucks because sometimes i'll introduce them and build them up, and then they wont talk. It gets weird because i'm the only guy talking and theres 4 girls. It makes it incredibly difficult to isolate because if I stop talking to the group then everything will just get weird. At the same time i'm not trying to be the entertainer too. Maybe I'll just have a talk with my mates haha |
