Post subject:  Ideas for text response?

Here is the conversation:
"i hope you are smiling. If not, just think of me!"
she responded
I am... xo
so I sent back, "If thats true, when are you thinking of seeing me again?"

she waited till the next morning to respond

11:01 AM"Good morning... sorry left my phone in the car last night. Hope you have a great day :)"

Any ideas on how I should respond.. Gone out with the girl once and had a great time over the weekend. Now, trying to set up a date for this coming weekend.

Who actually leaves their phone in the car.. especially women! It's almost as sacred as a handbag to them.. I get the feeling that she's trying to play hard to get or something...

You probably want to wait as long and a bit longer than her to respond. You want to get her asking when you want to meet again.. not the other way round.

You should have left the "if thats true" part... just "so when are you thinking of seeing me again ;)" would be great. To late for that thought hehe.

Go with the Style text/phone call (im loving it)... Depending how well you know her this may not work. "You don´t have a secret twin sister you haven´t told me about, do you?!"... i have always got a great response on that, possible: "Haha. No, why?". Just tell her "i saw a girl that really looked like you so i had to ask:)". And that´s a nice start to a conversation.

A excuse to see her " hi, me and.. (random friend) was going to ... (whatever it may be, restaurant, going for a walk, movie etc) but he dropped out, typically him. you wouldn´t like to join me? (maybe: "you wouldent like to replace him for an hour or so, that would be great" is better)

Simple solution, don´t respond to the text! wait a day or two depending on different things... think you know best yourself when it´s time! If you can´t resist, change the subject, don´t directly answer to the message (actually, theres noting in there that you can answer to. a "oh no problem at all" will just be unnecessary)
