What do you think about the forgetting/mistaking a girls name? Once I've opened and into a conversation, often I'll mistake a girls name, or introduce her to someone by the wrong name. Usually this is by mistake, I'm bad with names, but I've read on various PUA sites and articles that this is a GOOD technique. However my experiences have been the opposite. The girl will get annoyed and turned off by this. As if they really expect better and now no longer think I'm worthy of their time. Disappointed almost, because things had been going well up to that point. Does any one else use this technique to success? I know it's bad practise to abandon something that doesn't work once, but this keeps letting me down so I want to know whether to persist or change my game! Opinions please..... |

I ALWAYS tries to remember the girls names, i can´t see why you shouldn't. just the situation when you maybe already k-closed or are back at her house. If she actually for some reason asks you for her name and you can´t answer, that has to be a bad thing:P I even try to find out there names through her friends or someone else instead of asking. That way i can, if we talked for a while use that to neg her later. If you haven't told each other your names for a long time she will think that you have done it but (because everybody usually does) that she forgotten it. She will then ask you "what was you're name again?"... Neg her about not remembering your name although theres no way she actually could. I show her you are remembering hers! |

Thanks Jans, some good points there. So you reckon there's nothing to be said for mistaking a girls name to show higher value, that you aren't really listening etc..... |
