Hey so I need some help on my party midgame in college.

Usually, i kinda like open with a neg like "im suprised the bartender can even see you over this high counter " But pretty much that gets me like 1 minute to talk to them by just being playful. My question is how do you keep conversation going when girls just want to go dance?

I really hate dance floor game and id much rather just talk, but at parties its so fast paced that i cant really keep interest like in Day game. Any help would be great.
