| Post subject: | Sales girl, need some advice |
Went to the mall today, unfortunately with my mom. It was her birthday so I decided to spend the day with her. Never saw so many beautiful women in the mall but couldn't do any approaches. It killed me Anyway met an HB10 in a store. She's a sales girl there. I froze up and forgot everything (f* this AA is getting bad again) but my instincts kicked in and I kept a low profile so she won't remember me. I intend to go to that mall to approach some sets so I might as well pop into the store again Here's the problem: She work's in a designer clothing store and the clothes are ridiculously expensive. I'm not gonna buy anything there...I'm still a student barely holding my head above the water. So how do I go about this? I'm thinking I just tell her I'm looking for a new wardrobe or something along those lines and let her show me stuff. Sad thing is I'm gonna have to walk out of that store after all the effort without buying anything :\. It seems kinda see through doesn't it? As I'm writing this I'm thinking it might not be. She doesn't know me or my finances. I might just be a guy looking for an awesome style but can't seem to find it. Maybe I walked into the store with the wrong intent then. Can someone clarify what's wrong with my thinking. Geeze I feel so AFC |

Yea tough one. You could say you have another style but you're checking out that designer store to see if it's something you could get into. Talk to her about the clothes a bit, then look at the price tag and joke if the price includes her as a personal sales assistant or just a small country. |

Haha I think injecting some humor into it will help and I can try to combine it with Nerikaspua's suggestion. Say I'm looking for something for a friend who's about my size. I can try on some of what she suggests and bust on her if I don't like it etc. Thanks guys I think this is a cool option. If you got more suggestions I'll hear you out.

You: "It's a pity you have the staff discount and I don't!" Her: "Oh, it's not that much, it's just xyz%" (if she's working in a designer clothing shop most likely she won't be able to afford the clothes either) You: "Oh, so where do YOU usually shop then?" Her: "Oh, I shop at XYZ store. I love their...." You: "Hmmm... nice style, except for their (insert random clothing item) What do you think of Levis/H&M/Zara (or insert random clothing store)." And so on.... |
