Post subject:  Car game?

hey guys.

I'm taking a girl out to a downtown aquarium since that hurricane just hit Mexico and it's a shitstorm in Texas. This is AWESOME! Aquariums are darker and more likely to have 1v1 time. Problem is, I have horrible car game. I'm a senior in HS and a very good driver, I've been in auto-cross since before I had a licence so when I'm driving I am focused on driving, especially with this rain and Highway traffic. What happens is that I just don't have a full brain to focus on what she's saying and it usually leads to stale conversations with women. Please help!

9 hours 'til I pick her up

(I have a really nice car btw, suped ricer, bright red and a coupe, ladies love it)
And I've scoured the forums for info on game while diving and came up dry, thanks for the time to reply.

I would explain to her that you have trouble paying full attention to your conversation....but dont say it flat out

I would rather not pay attention to a conversation with a girl than get in a car accident and look like a huge loser.

Hmm. I do alot of "car game" And this has never occurred to me.

Props to you for wanting to be safe and responsible dude.

I haven't had that problem, I can talk and drive at the same time. Sometimes I'll put on music, talk etc etc.

I think a few things you could try are:

- Say something when you feel confident. For example when you're stopped at a traffic light. Say something which will get her talking without much input from you.

- Put on music. Alternatively, I found a weird radio station in my country which plays good music, but the announcer is like one of the weirdest people I have ever heard speak. They play up to date music which is awesome. But the feeling of the radio guy, you'd think he's running the station from his parents basement. I always put it on when a new girls with me and I always comment about it (it's usually on Fridays-Sundays, which is around the time I pick girls up). Whenever he speaks we crap up laughing. We don't even need to say anything to eachother, it's just funny to listen to.

- Find somewhere closer to drive to. Is this a day 2? If so, maybe find somewhere closer to drive to. Driving for 5-10 minutes in silence is alot better than driving 30-60 minutes in silence. If you aren't comfortable being in the same place for a long period of time (i.e driving) with her, maybe change plans and do the aquarium thing when you feel more comfortable with her.
