Here's the deal:
I'm in medical school, which is an DHV but I never bring it up because it comes across as try-hard. Even when I get ask about what I do, I never tell them directly. I usually beat around the bush for 5-6 questions before saying "I study medicine." It usually works out well enough. It demonstrates humility as well as higher value. Anyways, business as usual at the club and this girl laughingly responds with "Yeah right! I bet you tell all the girls that. I don't believe you. Let me see your ID." Obviously I don't bring my school ID to the club so I had to explain this to her. It was the focus of our conversation for the next few minutes and things just kind of fizzled out. I felt defeated. She got away. No number close.
How can I handle this better next time?

You shouldnt have to qualify yourself to someone like that. Shit test failed.

If I get shit tested with a line like, "You say that to every girl" etc- I'd go with it and say something like, "Yeah, you're right. I'm totally trying to get in your pants." Of course, sarcasm is key here. I like blatantly saying things like this, because if a girl stays around- she is passively agreeing to you trying to get in her pants. You can make fun of her for being so rude about it as well- something about her being too pushy. Anything other than trying to qualify yourself to her by explaining yourself. Hope that helps.

Why didnt you just say "you'll have to come back to my place to see it " and yea it seems really cliche but you have to make a game out of it. Today i bet some chick a hundred dollars that i didnt work on an ambulance. which of course i dont but thats wat i'm studying so of course i have my intern uniform and name badge. I win, soon as she gets that lil sad loser face on i said "that shit dont work on me, wheres my money haha" then i frisked her for the cash... which led to tickling.... which led to a kiss... which led to... use your imagination

If a girl asks to see your driver's license, show it to her. I guess a lot of guys lie about age, so you have to jump through the hoop to build comfort that you have nothing to hide. Knowing your last name will also make her more comfortable.
