Okay, so im new to the whole PUA society but I used this approach the other day and it worked pretty well.. On a 2 set..

Me: Hey I need your opinion on something, Does that guy over their look like my brother because my cousin (wingman) thinks we do.
Her:Nope
Me: Whats the difference between me and him?
Her: Your thicker and hes taller
Me: So you saying im thicker uh..
Her:No No not in a bad way..

I neg'd her a bit after that and eventually we got into talking about celebs and who looked like who..

Then my wingman walked over and started chatting with the other gal.. My main problem was tying to keep the conversation going.. I ended up leaving the set because I blocked out after a few more questions.. My buddy thought the approach worked well but obviously I just lost what to say after the initial approach..

Any tips? What do you guys think?

ive had the same problems lots of times. my sugesstion would be: have an specific outcome in mind, then steer the conversation towards that goal

my fav are telling stories to set the type of frame i want.

for example if i wanted to develop a deep connection with a girl i might tell her the story about meeting the 100% perfect person. this lets her know that i am a ptotenial mate and also that it creates a feeling that allows her to live in the moment

good luck and cheers

Whats a good story to tell you got any specific examples? I saw what you said about being the total 100% perfect person but how would I explain that? What would I say?

Next time you're opting for an situational/opinion opener, go for something more EXCITING, and one that will pique her attention fifty folds more.

If you put yourself in her shoes, I doubt you'd feel very interested in providing an answer to whether you look like the guy across the room.

Ask questions like...

"Hey (smile) , I need a woman's opinion, this will be quick. I'm doing a survey on FIRST IMPRESSIONS I give :) Now, in 5 seconds, you're going to pretend we just met. I want you to describe me in 3 words on the impression you're getting from me.

Ready? let's go."

An opener like that would be more engaging, mind stimulating, and fun. You can then branch off from there. Hope that helps.
