I find the word "dude" is something adds a very playful touch to your game. I always use "dude" to open, and even generally chat with HBs. Try it. It comes off as less threatening and plants something in her head that shows you guys have been friends for a long time.

Until next time...

Agreed, definitely a neg factor also involved. It slipped out by accident the first few times, then I realized how well it works.

One of the most underrated threads right here! I have been doing this for a while I learn that shit works almost better than anything I have ever said... it throws them off big time makes them rethink thereselves like am I even hot! It makes them want to fight for you more...

I concur. hah!

I'm still trying to figure out the psychology behind this. I think it portraits "friend zone." But not for you, it puts them in the friend zone, and puts them in position to have to fight to get out. It quickly escalates comfort and says, "I know you well enough to call you something that I call my friends."

I use it with keno and negs, "dude, whats goin on with these nails? I kinda like 'em." And then touch their hands.

I even said it to my last girlfriend, and I got a weird look. She said, "what?? Im just your friend?" And then she grabbed me as if to claim me back for herself.

Excellent post, and a powerful word indeed. Any other ideas about the psychology behind it?
