Basically, the past 2 days I've been gaming a HB 8 through facebook. I met her briefly 2 years ago and we go to the same university. Recently she had her status saying she slipped and fell down while running. I PM'ed her on face book saying in response to her status Me: "I thought I saw you bust your ass earlier...looks like it hurt. That's why I run at the track : ). (Didn't actually see her). Her: "lol, where did you think you saw me bust my ass?" Me: " Yesterday morning while along such and such street on my way to campus, at least she looked a lot like you" (educated guess since I know of a slippery road that I see lots of chicks run on early in the morning. My original plan was for me to guess wrong and take it from there that she's covering it up ect.) Her: "haha lol yeah that was most likely me in that case..the epitomy of grace." Me: "lol I've had my share of wipe outs many of which pale in comparison. However I don't think I've failed quite that bad while just running either. Anyway..I'm planning on organizing another hike once it gets warmer out and already have a few recruits. Since it's hard to fail at that...I think, your welcome to join (similar to the one I met her on). P.S. "epitomy" is spelled epitome Her: I attribute my fall to the fact that my right foot skidded on some slick gravel (left over from the stuff used to clear the roads of ice). I do not consider it a failure at running, especially since things such as this happen routinely to people running 8+ miles a day. Though I certainly admit that is is unfortunate. I do not only attempt things that are hard to fail at. There is no sense of accomplishment there. P.S. "your" is used incorrectly. The correct usage would be that of the contraction "you're" How do I respond to that? So far so good but she didn't acknowledge my invite, but she surely seems to be trying to qualify herself. Any suggestions? |

Respond: 'She thinks shes fiesty... but really? She is just scared of an adventure =] You are so boring sometimes. I remember this time with my ex ex gf, we went hiking and she slipped down an embankment. She was crying for help and I just couldn't stop laughing. I had to tell her to calm down and I went to fetch her. Why are you girls scared of your own shadow?' I agree though you haven't built enough attraction. You are a random guy asking her out. Next time spend a little longer uilding the attraction and DHVing. This response is as good as anything though, because it steers away from the whole date thing a bit, has a few DHV's (pre selection, you being in control) and you have a nice little neg there. There is a chance she will want to prove that girls aren't scared, and perhaps you can then get her to come by trapping her with her own words. But seriously? wait a little longer next time. |

I went a little quicker because a lot of PUA's on here are saying for online game that it's 2 or 3 messages before moving to in person or on the phone asap. I personally am a little more natural at online game anyway and probably should have continued, I was just afraid of losing her because if she doesn't reply back its done. As of now I am the who hasn't responded so I have the power. Anyway I was thinking of like Me: " .....and.....? I still consider it a fail that particular day at running, if not the choice of the route. Actually from what I remember... last time you slowed down half of the group twice and the trail will probably be a bit more challenging. Therefore I'm not so sure your ready. Perhaps you should stick to a track first, then the sidewalks, and then we'll talk when your ready for a hike |

Yea that's good however I still haven't responded because it's been almost a week and I think responding this late would be a big turn off since she'd think it took me this long to figure out a response. Should I just leave it be and start something new with her in a week or two or should I still respond? |

I wouldnt ask her again, if its a week later and you ask her again, she might think you put it off as you were waiting for her response. Next time you are takking to her, say you went with some friends, and she probably wouldnt have been able to keep up with you anyways. if she says she would say "no you would totally slow me down!.......prove me wrong doll face, prove me wrong, i plan on going again saturday if i get time, think your up to it?" |
