i have noticed that altho it doesnt happen all the time one of my biggest problems

other than running out of things to say is some how offending them or saying

something they dont understand and i end up not realizing there mad till its too late

and then they just leave altho it happens more in text or online so they sign off either

way what is something you can do to save the conversation when you realize shes

getting mad or bored

Do you have any specific examples?

Generally text is really risky (esp if you're using cocky comedy) because so easily she can take what you are saying out of context.

I'm interested to hear what others think, but I try to avoid too much texting or emailing. I don't have time for it and so easily it can become annoying for the girl if she is uncertain about you.

I use texting mainly to communicate necessary messages like:

"Hey how have you been? I just had the most insane weekend. Are you free on Tue 2:30pm for a coffee at Java Jive Cafe in the city?"

The open ended question gives her an opportunity to respond if she wants to have some chit chat, the statement about my weekend is mysterious and she will either ask about it immediately or at least be interested when we catchup. And the date/location/time shows that you are decisive and can lead the two of you, rather than saying "do you want a coffee with me? where shall we go?" which is pussy. It also gives the text purpose.

I hate texting for the sake of it, if I want to hang out with somebody I'd rather do it in person. I'm possibly guilty of not texting enough and letting the line go slack if I can't meet a girl.

Also - I have found in the past (and I think its David DeAngelo's advice) is to ignore a woman occasionally. It drives them wild.

Any thoughts?
