I live in a pretty boring suburb, and when I'm working the online game, most of the girls I meet are a as far as 30 miles away, sometimes out in the country a good ways, or at least in areas that I'm not familiar that don't offer much to do. I run into this a lot around here, where basically I have to ask the girl to drive 30+ minutes to me in order for us to have anything to do and for me to work my game with a few local hotspots that usually deliver. (On the plus side, it's fairly easy once they're out here to get them back to my place.)
I guess now that I've talked it out here, I don't really have much of a problem.
I just don't like asking them to drive -- putting them out like that right off the bat starts things on an off-note since the more chivalrous thing to do is to drive to meet them. I've had a few girls in the past that I know were a little annoyed by the time they got into my area, which starts me off in a compromised position. But if I go to them, I'm walking into a blind situation where I don't know any good places to go and the odds of getting invited to her place are slimmer.Thoughts?
