So I have no problem opening a group...my issue is hanging in there after i get a rebuff. you know what I'm talking about, the first response where a girl seems like she isn't interested. I know that I'm supposed to hang in there and show confidence but I always revert to an AFC and turn away. I know that with practice I'll get better...so I'm just ranting. The real purpose of this thread is dancing. As men I know that we have to assert our dominance. I've been told I'm a good dancer, but I get out there with girls that are doing crazy shit and I try to keep up. My question here is, do I try to assert myself as an Alpha Male and keep my rhythm and get the girl to dance the way I like, or do I continously try to follow her methods? I've been trying to follow girls and it seems to fail all the time. I don't to go out there and thrust my pelvis into a woman, but I definitely am tired of ssquatting down so low to the dance floor that it feels like i'm tying my shoes. its just not my dance style and I think personally that following a girl on the dance floor is being an AFC dancer. |

The man leads in dance, but don't be a square. Loosen up your style to something more free-form and sexual, but yeah make sure you're leading at the same time. You can easily do this with body language and physically moving her around. |

If you are a really good dancer and she likes you she will start naturally following you. The key is to do your thing, kick back, and let her come to you. In the beginning she will want to express herself on the floor. LET HER. you just be the solid rhythm that she can depend on. When she comes to you, dont grab, but let her move closer until any part of her back or thighs touches you, then usually (use your judgement) she is ready for contact. At that point you completely take the lead. She will let you do whatever you want with her because you have established yourself as a dancing leader/ authority and she will surrender. The more you move her the better Its better to control her for a while then push her away then repeat but if she pulls away, just let her go and continue to be the rhythm or dance with one of her friends. One caveat of this is sometimes there are women who are just terrible dancers or women who are extremely un-feminine (wont let you take a lead). its rare, but the poor dancers you have to completely lead, and the un-feminine you just have to let them do their thing or make a joke of "umm.. i think you are supposed to follow.. lol" good luck |
