Running out of things to say is annoying enough when you have time to think, but when I'm talking up a girl who's an employee or a customer at a store and she has other things to get to, that awkward silence can kill the conversation in seconds.

Most of the convo. topics and escalation methods usually used in clubs & parties come off as weird at a Borders, and I've lost too many conversations because I couldn't think of anything to say besides the usual "what are you buying" or "so, how's working here?" nonsense.

So, what do you use to keep the conversation going and escalate it on a store clerk? I'm guessing kino wouldn't be the best idea in that situation.

I never picked up a girl in a store, but... You can throw in some stuff into her basket, like 10 boxes of condoms and than yelling around lol and teasing her

That is a really good question, being a beginner myself I am wondering this as well.

I'm guessing the same sort of talk you would make when you are approaching girls in a mall, but I also do not know what to say there either. :?

Guys, I used to wonder the same thing too. Daytime approaches can be tricky. What helps though is being present with the girl, being in the moment, and making use of what the girl is giving you to make the conversation flow smoothly. I think this article I found does a better job at explaining what I'm saying. Check it out: http://www.attractioninstitute.org/how- ... in-daytime

Hope this helps.
