I was at a party, and I saw a cute HB9 that was with a guy. DOn't mean to sound cocky, but the guy would've had absolutely no competition over me. ANyways, I went up to her and I approached direct. During this initial approach she was by herself. I approached and Said,"i never seen her around before, and i thought i'd just introduce myself." SHe smiled, and said "wow, i've never met a guy that was so socialable before." so i know my approach was great. I even pushed and pulled alot telling her that "French girls aren't my type bcause they play too many games (she was french). she laughed, and liked it. After that I told her i have to go meet up my friends, and used my false time constraint. Later on, she was always with that douche she was with dancing the hwole time. We were looking at each other, smiling, and i winked at her and stuff. But I couldn't find a way to isolate her without seeming too desperate. I was already with some other girl too, so i didn't want to make it look like i was a skeevy fuck that jumped from one girl to another. But my main obstacle was re-approaching her while she was with the guy she was with. I didn't want to take her back to my place cuz i was already taking that other girl that i was with (who wasn't as hot), but my goal was to get her number, cuz she was definately my type. So the main question is. I apporached a girl, directly, gave me a bunch of IOIs. And she was chilling with a guy and her group of friends on the couch. SHould I have asked her to come get a drink with me and talk about other stuff? or tried something less direct... |

From the story it looks like you were sending her non-verbal signals for a good part of the nite. The problem is you should have continued with them. When she looks at you again you should have gestured her toward you. If she accepts your in. If you took the direct path you could have talked to the whole group and not single her out. Introduce yourself to her friends, even the guy. THis will show your not in it just to get her number then after a few mins ask her if she would like to accompany you with a drink. Going in directly one on one would have led to failure in my eyes. Spread your game do not isolate it |

-use a wing -use the girl youre with, throw her at the guy -or as loyalknicksfan said, you could have just gestured her to come closer |

thanks alot for the reply guys.. what both of you said makes sense.. i was really wasted that night so i couldn't get my thoughts together.. i should've approached her whole group... |
