I am more of a listener than a talker. I have difficulty maintaining a conversation and choosing good topics to discuss. I am thinking about memorizing some short stories that are very interesting and may easily relate to the listener. These seem like good ways to open a conversation because if the listener is interested, they will likely share similar stories that relate to yours. Does anybody have any such stories or have any tips on how to find what the listener is interested in without making it a questionnaire? Any exercises that will help me to become less shy would be greatly appreciated! |

If you are going to get canned mid-game material I would look into DHV sequencing, particularly grounding sequences. It is based of the DHV (Display of Higher Value) model, which are centered around these tenants: 1. Leader of men. 2. Protector of loved ones. 3. Ability to emote. 4. Risk-taker. I'm positive there is one more, but I can't remember it for the life of me. This is classic MM shit, so if anyone can throw me a bone on that last one I'd appreciate it. I used to be able to recite these in my sleep! Also, make sure you focus on how you tell the story over simply just giving details. A lot of guys will tell a story in a very bland, play-by-play way (as men by nature are analytical, whereas women are emotional). This will GET YOU NOWHERE! Moreover, it will probably bore the shit out of your target. Also, if you aren't a big talker then work on your kino game! I read a book by this guy who apparently would hook up with girls in countries whose language he couldn't even speak! He used kino and masculine intent to not only destroy the language barrier, but discard language completely! Remember, people have been fucking long before they started talking. Learn the language of love and talking will simply be an after thought. |

If you arnt a person who just can sit and talk and talk for hours you can try to change this into your advantage. By creating a mindset witch is: "I have a secret". There's nothing wrong in letting the women do the talking (as long as she I isnt boring herself out...) as long as you have some kind of input or create the need in her to find out what you think. Look at the Value aspect of this. She is talking about something in her life, you look interested but you dont give her any big reactions like: "Om my god?" "Really?" "Thats amazing..." Instead your like: "Okey." "Well it happens". Be intrested, not intrigued. This will lead her into the idea that you have a lot of life experience. She will ask you for your opion. And a very good answer to any hard question is. "Well, a couple of years ago I was in a phase were I thought really hard about pretty much anything. I read books, talked to my friends. Then as I started to understand myself and the world better, I simply realised: Shit happens." And as always with Demstrontating Higher Value: LESS IS MORE! "The only thing I really know, is that I really dont know anything". |

The Mystery Method! Must read. I also just realized I tried putting a link in my last post, but didn't label it so it didn't work. I'm past the edit limit and can't for the life of me remember the link I posted, so you'll have to forgive me. Just learn the Mystery Method (aka MM or M3) if you haven't already and pay special attention to the part about DHV Sequences. |
