I think the most important thing when you try to get a girlfriend, especially a long term relationship, is really be yourself. If you depend on calculated game to woo her, she will most likely be attracted to that side of you. Then when you defer, or try to go back to your normal self, the level of attraction will change as your behavior changes.
A routine i like to do tho is
Me: After some comment, i ask for a high 5, n then when i get her hand, i twirl her around n say, "i just noticed how amazing u look today." At this point, her hand is still in my hand, and you've had some serious eye contact. If you've done things right up to this point. then you say Dont move. N she freezes, n u lean in and wipe something off her eyebrow and tell her she had a loose eyelash. Then you can pretend to pocket the eyelash while saying, "That eyelash will be mine exclusively.
Where were we?" this should create some tension, and you can close her later on to be your girlfriend.
