talk about the great tradition of city planners and surveyors. look up Hippodamos, the father of modern city planning, haha. Talk about the greco-roman tradition of surveying and civil engineering, and then say something like "I'm not so much concerned with catapult attacks these days, but there are a myriad of problems when it comes to engineering the long term well being of our fair city." Tell her you study the Hippodamic Arts |
