Post subject:  Shy and possibly LSE girl

Okay, I'll try to keep the background on this short. I used to work in a coffeeshop in a management role. About two months ago, I got moved to a new store. I wasn't there long, maybe a month and a half. While I was working there, there was a girl that was 10 years younger than me (she's 21). seeing as she was that much younger than me, I pretty much wrote her off and ignored her. even though she was incredibly good looking. About two weeks in, she approaches me and starts asking me questions. She is obviously nervous. She had a shy smile on her face and she could hardly speak. We chit chatted the next few shifts she worked then we started teasing and flirting with each other. Eye contact across the store, she made jokes about me "getting her hopes up", etc. So, after I found out I was moving in to another store and told her she said "that's horrible, I'm going to cry" and she seemed like she really meant she would miss me. Being as I was in management, I really couldn't make a move on her, so the day after my last day at that store, I went in to visit, and number closed her. I really just had to open up the situation. I simply asked if I could call her sometime, she smiled, said "yeah, want my number"? So I put her number in my phone (I was kind of visibly shaky when I was putting her number in my phone). That was a Sunday, I called Tuesday, voicemail. called the following monday, left a message telling her to call me. Did not hear from her so I wroter her off after about a week. So Monday, after not hearing from her for three weeks I, for some reason, tried calling her again. Voicemail again. Left a message saying "just called to chat, give me a call". I'm regretting doing that, she hasn't called back or even sent me a message on facebook, but at least I haven't creeped her out to the point of her blocking me on Facebook.

I really hadn't started reading about the game until after I number closed her, so I want to know two things here:

1. She has shown me lots of signs of shyness. She is very shy with most of the coworkers and customers. She was shy around me but we overcame that a little to where she could have conversations with me. Is it possible that she likes me but is to shy? Would it be okay to facebook or text her saying something like "why are you getting all shy on me now?"

2. I didn't know much about game at the time. I think I may have blown it when she saw my hand shaking while I was putting her number in my phone. I was totally confident up until that point. So, I'm trying to learn from this experience. She seemed like LTR material not ONS material, so I want to be prepared and experienced next time an LTR girl comes along.

You could try texting her ONCE cause if she is truly a really shy girl she would feel more comfortable responding to that. Make it a fun message. If she doesn't respond to the text move on. Any more attempts is gonna make you seem needy.

Sounds good. I was leaning more towards a text that I was a facebook message or wall post. I rethought calling her out/being playful about her shyness. That seems like something that works on normal girls, but might actually make a shy girl feel self concious. So, I'm trying to come up with a playful/fun text that does rely on teasing her about being shy.

Two days ago I texted her "Cat got your tongue?"

Nothing. In hindsite, probably not a good message to send.

When u got the voicemail on that first Tuesday..you should've called her that Wednesday. NOt the following Monday if you ask me. Then if you got the voicemail again that wednesday you could've just gone down for a cup of coffee 2 days later and tell her in person "cat got your tongue?". If u then get a bunch of IOI's then it probably was her being too shy to return your call. If you wouldnt get any IOI's. Game over. At least you then know. Calling her three times in the space of a month sounds a little bit wussy to me. It's the 21st century. People lead their lives fast. Spreading 3 phone calls over a month is too long.
