PUA Forum :: Isolation problem with 2 set

Scenario: This weekend I went to bar to do some pick-ups and there were these two cute looking girls. So of course I opened the situation, talked/teased them etc. I was surprised how smoothly it went. Instead of me talking to the girls, the girls started to talk me. They were really exited and were competing of my attention. So far so good...

Problem: Now, first I got the impression that they had third friend somewhere close by, but later on when I asked about it they told they don't. They where also constantly together, even when they went to lady's room or to get new drinks. I had first planned to wait until I get a change to talk either one of them alone (they were both really cute, so didn't have preference) and take things from there. However, now I was stuck with to two girls who obviously didn't want to separate even for a minute. So basically I blew the situation because I couldn't isolate neither one of them. Although things were going nicely, I wasn't really making any progress towards closing.

Question: How should this kind of situation be handled? Is there some good way to isolate one of the girls in this kind of situation or what would be the best way to proceed?

EDIT: Yeah, and of course the obvious way would be to have a wing, who distracts the other girl, but how about if I have no wing as was the case in this situation.

Tohtori, When you do not ahave a wing the answer is you don't isolate them from each other. The problem with that is one friend is left wondering what you are off doing with her friend. And the girl you are with is worrying about her being by herself. It doesn't make for a good situation and the girls are likely to freak out after a couple of minutes at the most. The smart thing to do is to keep them together. Now at one point during your pickup you are just going to have to pick a target, give IOIs to that target, and also give her statements of interest. You may even turn to the girl you aren't as interested in and say, "Your friend and I kind of like each other, is that okay?" Anyways, what you should have done is taken them together and sat down on a couch or sofa if possible. You want to sit like the below diagram. You - Target - Other girl You are going to continue to ignore the target some have her lean back while you talk over her to the obstacle about whatever. Now the target can still hear what is going on, and she is even included in the conversation to some degree. You want it this way though so the target is still close enough to kino and stuff. From here you go into comfort "Connection" building and check for compliance from your target. Make sure to not just talk to the target and leave the friend out of the conversation. In a loud venue it's possible for you to talk to the target and the obstacle not hear you. Don't alienate her. You work a two set together. In some ways you need attraction with both of them in order to gain compliance from them, however, one girl wins you and one doesn't at some point. That should help answer you question a little better. Wish I could demonstrate it more but I think you know what I'm getting at here. Jon

What you said actually makes perfect sense. I knew that if I try to isolate one of them the situation would just become awkward really fast. I already made a decision to go for the blond and basically did what you told (somewhat ignored her by talking with her friend while she was listening). I just didn't know how to proceed from there. But of course, if you cannot isolate, you don't. It's really obvious now. But thanks a lot, this really helped. I'll give it a try.

Basicly Tohtori gave a perfect responce Annother way would be put the two girls on your arm and open some new sets. Introduce the obsticle to new guys and new people. This will do 3 things -Make the target evan more attracted to you as your showing social proof and good social skills -Make the guys in the new sets like you therefore re inforcing your ALPHA status (Who isnt going to like a guy thats throwing a hot chick onto you?" -If the obsticle ends up finding a mate she will love you for setting her up with who could end up being her husband and u manage to isolate your target.

Theres just a few things that can be a bitch with a said situation. Almost like they are putting in a team effort while your solo, Rambo style in the jungle alone, .....meaning its 1:2 or whatever # set your with, by instance attention has to be spread to each person. You cannot isolate without other factors coming into play first.... When you draw off on your target, the other chick is seemingly left in the dust, and if she likes you/or is interested shes going to be pissed that you chose her friend over her...regardless of how you make her feel or appeal to her at first..translates later as jealously>anger>cock block(especially if one girl is getting all the attention, bitches act fierece). In those situations you almost have to go for both THEN HAVE THEM DECIDE WHOS GETTING YOU, have them duke it out between each other ... versus you trying to keep things equal, keeping both girls happy, so on and so forth...too much extra bulshit you do not need to be putting yourself through. How do you make this happen? Should happen naturally, if both girls are genuinely interested in you they will both shadow each other back and forth during exchanges with you, trying to top one another. Example if chick #1 is all getting close/physical with you, chick #2 should be doing the same thing and then some trying to take it a step further to top her friend. Basically like a see saw....back and forth. Guys do the same shit around a hot female, theyll all fight back and forth trying to gain her sole attention. And what happens eventually? The competition gets beat out by which guy(s) are still left standing. Basically whatever guy gives up is out of the picture. Your hoping for the same situation in your case, that one girl gets beat, gives up, becomes uninterested eventually or just leaves. A SLEEK WAY to silently shimmy around your Non-target girls is to talk with your target chick about stuff she only can relate to(so it seems legit). EX: You find out one chick goes to school and the other does not, there you go. Ask anything along that route so the other chick is shut out from the start without you being a dick, ignoring her, or showing obvious intent to your target. Covering your ass all around here. A good way to imply without saying, your not making the cut sorry...IDK if this will be effective in a bar/club scene but you get the idea....simple tactic. Shit goes down when you least expect, and ive had it happen to me before bad. You have to make some kind of a god damn move otherwise prepare for the inevitable fail.
