Juggler spoke about this in his video. He calls it something like "running blind", basically women don't want a guy to be acting as though they are single when they are not. There is too much of a risk that you will do something stupid and get them in trouble because you don't know their relationship status (call them when their with their BF, expect to meet their friends, expect to go home with them, expect to go out with them on weekends, etc..). So they will either do two things: mention they have a boyfriend and judge your reaction to see if you can handle it, or become flaky and brush you off. This is why he suggest at some point you always ask if a woman is in a relationship.

His advice was simple. Become interested and talk about their relationship. Then you relate about some of the relationships you have been in, but steer the conversation to only focus upon the negative aspects. Talk about how your relationships started off great, but ended up badly and how your partner took you for granted and ignored you and didn't want to go out any more (most likely she's going through some degree of the same disappointment). If she's questioned her relationship, this could be the final push she needs, if she hasn't she won't be bothered by it.

Agreed, will have to use this one though. ive been involved some girls like this and always got stuck despite IOI's. Awesome quote!!
