This is my first post. I'm VERY new to the community (been reading the forums for less than a week, just finished reading The Game by Neil Strauss, watched all of VH1's The Pick-Up Artist on-line) but I'm not exactly starting from square 1 either... Anyways, I had what I think is a great idea, so I thought I'd share it and maybe get some feedback. From what I understand of the Mystery Method, a major component of the game, and the main reason behind throwing negs, is to keep the target from viewing you as someone who is trying to get in her pants - that is, to disqualify yourself as a possible suitor. So, with that goal in mind, this is the piece I just came up with... <b>THE PURITY RING (Version 1)</b> I was hanging out with a girl I used to work with, and she asked about a ring I was wearing. The ring had no special significance, it was just for peacocking (not much, but every little piece helps) but girls want everything to have a special significance, so I thought I'd have some fun with her. FYI, it was a pinky ring of a snarling wolf's head. Looks badass. Mako: It's a purity ring. girl: really? (if you've got your image down right, she won't believe you, as you should look like a person who is down to get dirty) Mako: Yeah. Not a lot of people know that wolves are monogamous animals. Once they mate, they're paired for life. (I went into more bullshit details. Any bullshit story will do, but you should have one ready ahead of time. The more details, the better.) I've only used this the one time, but we were making out by the end of the night. I think of this as similar to the routine Mystery gave to Style in The Game, where Style approached a woman with "If I weren't gay, you'd <i><b>so</i></b> be mine." It doesn't matter if you say something earlier in the night that disqualifies yourself as a potential sexual partner. If your actions speak louder than your words, odds are she won't call you out on it. If she does, tell her you were just having some fun with her, and neg her for being gullible. <b>THE PURITY RING as a neg</b> AFC: That's an interesting ring, does it have a story? (common opener) HB: (her answer doesn't really matter, although you could respond to it if its interesting, I suppose) AFC: Oh, okay. I thought it might be a purity ring or something like that. HB: What? Why would you think that? AFC: Well, you've got this good girl vibe going on. Like, you're trying to hide it, but not doing a very good job. And...(other bullshit you might add on specific to her ring) HB: NOOooooo, it's not! (if she goes on and on about how its not a Purity Ring, and starts qualifying herself, or trying to shake the good-girl image you gave her, it means she WANTS you to see her as someone who is sexual, a clear IOI) Feedback? Other techniques for disarming the target? |

Nice 1 dude im definately gona try it as a neg! Could lead into some nice kino by touching their hands and removing their ring to inspect it. Followed by a little teasing "your so needy" when she wants her ring back. This might be a good routine! must field test soon |

Yes, using the <b>Purity Ring Neg</b> could definitely be followed up with some kino and teasing. A great example of a solid routine to follow this with is the <b>"Ring Finger Routine"</b> which has been credited to <b>Style</b>. xfmans-ring-routine-vt7812.html In this thread we get a detailed, written walk-through of the Ring Finger Routine by xfman. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nS6--wzx ... 20&index=1 For the visual learners out there who need to see something get done to really learn it, this is a video by a PUA named Alex whose videos I've really enjoyed. He gives a great demonstration of how to deliver the routine. I'd highly recommend watching this video. This routine is a great way to <b>kino escalate</b> as you touch her hand, possibly move up the arm. You also <b>DHV</b> by showing off your knowledge of ancient greece. Knowledge of ancient greece might not be something girls are specifically looking for, but IMO any display of knowledge like this can be a DHV. The whole point is to be interesting, am I right? |

i like the routine it looks like it would work great. on the neg, what do you think is a good response if she agrees with you and says she is a good girl? i can't really think of anything |

man thats an awsome post, ive been watching alex's videos but never found this one. For me this video is ideal because im hoping to move to greece in the summer so I also get to DHV my travelling life ! props man |
