It's me, from the last post. Sorry it was so long last time bros. I went on the date and we made out and were very physical. Around the time when she had to go, she told me that although the date was "really fun, beautiful even; it was a beautiful time," she wasn't looking for a relationship. The reason was her religion or some BS. I was a little surprised, didn't know what to say. I didn't react negatively, smiled and said "I think you know what you want. You're just a little afraid and unsure. So am I." I don't know if that was the right thing to say, but she was willing to kiss after that, and was even agreeable when I suggested another date. However, she was different over text after the date and even left me hanging. She seemed nervous about something. We took pictures together and she was very worried that I would show them to someone. I teased her but she's stopped texting me. What do I do? |

Stop smothering her. Your being needy as fuck. Yes, actually texting someone every 3 minutes does make you needy. To girls needy guys are like wedgies, they just can't pull them out of their ass fast enough and they won’t care who’s looking! Why in the hell do guys take on the roll of the girl so often. No wonder they run, they don't need a pussy, they already have one. |

Thanks for the help. Why in the hell do guys take on the roll of the girl so often. No wonder they run, they don't need a pussy, they already have one. I wasn't needy, and I believe I wasn't, at least not at first. Maybe I should have been more clear in first post, still new to forums. She texted me first with "Get home safe, don't share that picture with anyone." I didn't set up a date over text, we only talked about the picture thing, texting ~10 minutes apart, when she stopped. I probably was needy before she did that. What to do next, freeze out or text/call first? What would I say if I texted her? In my mind, if I call her, it would have to be about what kind of relationship we're looking for right now. EDIT: sorry, made the post less b1tchy I don't take criticism well usually. |

Quote: "I think you know what you want. You're just a little afraid and unsure. So am I." This made me cringe...twice.Why can't you guys answer by saying that it's too early to talk about relationships. Instead, she gives you how she felt and you decided to tell her that's not how she really feels. |

Why is that? Wanting exclusivity too fast is a clear sign you are being too needy. It's so much more fun to take the time to get to know one another. |

As Jack said above. The 'Talk' is not needed. |

Thank you. I'm really quite new, so do I wait for her to text or do I text first. |

You can text. Give an example of what you would send at this point.

First texts are a bad sticking point for me. I'll try to come up with some. Some nicknames I called her: "Goldilocks, Rock Lobster, Skywalker." maybe "Hey Goldilocks. I'm craving and I know a "just-right" pizza place. What's your schedule this week?" or "Skywalker, your training begins at the pier. What's your schedule this week?" I feel like I've overused Rock Lobster at the moment, so maybe not that one. These feel arbitrary to me, thoughts? Does it matter that I sent the last text? |

Is this how you really talk? Or do you only text like this?

I don't know what "this" means exactly. I'm usually playful in person and try to be that way over text too. It's harder because messages can be misread.Edit: I do use nicknames in person. |
