Hi guys, so I need some advice with this situation that I’m currently in. I’ll call her G, she’s a HB8 and I believe she has emotional issues, but I could be wrong. Personally, I would say we were really close for the time I knew her; I could have seen this leading to an LTR. We know each other for a little over a month and I laid it twice. She did orgasm the second time (which was the first time she ever came, is what she told me) So now I’d say what happened yesterday. I don’t usually call her on the phone, we normally just message each other. But I called last night. The conversation started well like usual. Eventually, she said she had an exam tomorrow and I said I’d help her. So I helped her with a couple practice questions over the phone.. then eventually, she said “I don’t really need any help you know”, I didn’t take it on and continued talking, then she went on to ask me to help with another question. I gave her an answer but told her I was unsure and that she should look at a text book, she then said, “don’t bother, I’ll ask my friend”. Honestly, I thought she was being a little disrespectful, but maybe I’m overreacting. So a little while after, I told her, abruptly, “I’m going now, bye” G: You angry with me? Me: No, you seem like you want to do your work so I’m going G: why do you want to go all of a sudden? Me: because I’m gonna leave you to do your work Then, I ended up asking her if she even wanted to talk with me and she responded in a heated manner, “no, bye”. So I said, “ok, bye” and I hung up. So today, I’m seeing that she blocked me SPAM. I think I acted a little needy last night but still, I feel she was disrespectful and I’m gonna freeze her out. What do you guys think? |

nickname is FrontG lol ok so you're saying that she just wanted me to talk about something else when she said this? Quote: “I don’t really need any help you know”
Next question, so why did she block me on SPAM and respond like that before I hung up?

This kind of stuff is so weird to me. Quote: I believe she has emotional issues Quote: I could have seen this leading to an LTR What is with you wanting to have an LTR with a girl that is showing emotional issues? From what I've seen and experienced, with the exception of the sex, there is no lasting happiness with crazy. Surely you can do better.

Quote: I believe she has emotional issues,
Jack, I took that to mean she simply has a vagina.

ok I get what you're saying, but I want to know if what I did was seen as insecure?

Disagreeing with Jack today I think this is mostly OP. I missed the emotional issue part and my read was that OP was the one who emotionally was in the wrong. Quote: The conversation started well like usual. Eventually, she said she had an exam tomorrow and I said I’d help her.
To me thats a hint that she's gotta go. She has to really study or she is just tired of talking. But you shouldnt have offered help and just let her get off the phone.Quote: So I helped her with a couple practice questions over the phone.. then eventually, she said “I don’t really need any help you know”, I didn’t take it on and continued talking, then she went on to ask me to help with another question.
Again, hint to let her get off the phone.Quote: Honestly, I thought she was being a little disrespectful, but maybe I’m overreacting.
You persisted with the conversation and your help which she didnt ask for nor sounds like it was needed. She's giving you hints to get off the phoneI dont know if she has issues, but when you're so needy and a girl blocks you, you make it hard for someone else to distinguish what is her overreacting and you just breaking the last straw of neediness. My guess is from the way you persisted in a phone conversation, she just got turned off and nexted you. You brushed past a girls hints to get off the phone and when she gets short..now SHE's disrespectful? All this should have been was: HER: I have an exam tomorrow YOU: Cool, I got xyz later so should let you prepare. Not: HER : I have an exam tomorrow YOU: Oh I'll help you with something you never asked for my help on! Stay on the phone! Maybe she'll come back around, but regardless, next time a girl tells you something, dont just offer your help like that and "continue talking" when she says she doesnt need help. Shit is a red flag for a seriously needy dude and many girls will just take that cue to walk away if you're showing this after 2 lays. |
