| Post subject: | The Nice Guy??? |
I've been doing lots of daygaming lately. I've been told by fellow wingmen that I'm being to "nice." I'm so confused on this. My dominant body language (posture, gesturing) are good. My vocal tone sometimes goes up slightly but after the first 3 or 4 approaches it usually goes away completely. I always start with a very simple opener similar to what Yad (the london daygamer) does. However, I do start going into some conversation that just involves questions (a little dry and boring sometimes) like "How's your day going so far?" etc. 1. Does anybody have some advice on how I could come with a more entertaining conversation (for myself mostly)? 2. What even constitutes a "nice guy" frame during daygame anyways? |

Heh, 'nice' can be such an annoying term sometimes.. It's almost infuriating in the patronising sound of it. 1. Does anybody have some advice on how I could come with a more entertaining conversation (for myself mostly)? 2. What even constitutes a "nice guy" frame during daygame anyways? But nice is actually a completely misleading term. Instead of the word 'nice', think: Spineless, overly eager to please, not aggressive enough, shy, overly sensitive, easily scared, afraid to go for what he wants. So your niceness can come out in lots of ways, it can be truly hard to say without watching you, but some thing to keep in mind that happen a lot. 1) Incessant nodding at everything they say - sign of approval seeking 2) Incessant smiling or laughing too much 3) You find yourself backtracking in conversation "Well no no thats not what i meant" 4) Poor eye contact 5) Your voice pitches up way more often than it should. (our voices pitch up at the end of a sentence when we are seeking to ensure the other person agrees with us, and doing it all the time signifies approval seeking). The list could go on and on. HOWEVER the good news is you don't necessarily need a seasoned guy like me to watch you. Oftentimes, simply plugging in a the headphones to your mobile phone and leaving it in record mode to listen to your approaches will prove to be both a learning experience and a massive slap in the face. However, it's probably the best thing any daygamer can and should do regularly no matter how cringe-worthy it is to listen to yourself. |

Finally got my first daygame lay. After 125 approaches. I discovered a lot of things. I basically just got rejected to the point where a became desensitized to it. Then my true character and personality came out. I realized that I'm able to be direct, have manners, yet not hold back by portraying a needy attitude. I've realized over the past month that I've pushed myself so far out of my comfort zone that I actually created a new comfort zone where I don't have to be fake and put on an acting job. The sex was awesome (a real hottie too), but also the realization that I can actually make such a huge leap of faith through pushing through fears was just as good. |
