| Post subject: | How to nail a hottie in my study group? |
I have learned the pitfalls of oneitis and the importance of abundance mentality, but every so often a challenge comes along that I can't ignore. An opportunity for a real feather in my cap, if you will. And this is one. So please, PUA gurus, give me your wisdom! There is a girl doing a semester-long group project with me and she's probably a solid HB8. Definitely would be one of the better looking girls I've ever been with. The challenge is that my group consists of me, her, and two other guys. One of the guys is a stereotypical tall, thin, socially awkward beta dude and the other guy kind of has that "hipster" vibe to him. Objectively I'm probably the best looking guy in the group. We have a class together once a week and generally all meet to work on the project on a different day. I also have a different class with the same girl. This is an interesting dynamic because I wouldn't feel right just bum rushing into trying to ask this girl out and escalate with her since I'll need to work with her for the next few months. I need to find "safe" ways to try to attract her that won't backfire if she isn't interested. When we are all together I try to do my best to DHV. I take a leadership role and direct traffic, but I'm also very laid back and lighthearted. If there were any tips or lines people can think fo for me to try out, I'm all ears. Since I have another class with her, I have a plan where I'll ask her to study for a test in that class with me. Since the other two guys aren't in that class, it's a safe way for me to ask her to hangout with just me. From there, I can try to build up some attraction. However, I'm totally ready for the "I'm really busy I don't have time" excuse since she's constantly complaining that she's so busy with school/work/sports. If she drops the busy excuse when I ask her to study, should I just keep it platonic from then on? Anyone have experience in a situation like this? |
