Alright guys, I recently saw a girl on my college campus, she is the kind of girl that does not need to wear makeup at all to look amazing; HB9 easily: 5'4 brunette athlete.

I emailed her a message telling her how beautiful she is and how amazing her personality is just from meeting her for several minutes. It was an anonymous email because I'm not the greatest looking of guys.

Her response was along the line of: I'm not sure who you are, but THANK YOU for this incredibly thoughtful note! This is a beautiful thing that you did (. . .) I don't think you know how meaningful this can be to people. It certainly was an unexpected moment of joy in my day. thank you again. you're the one who deserves to receive that "wow". :)

I went on a limb and got through the door. Now what?
When do I follow up? and how would I go about doing it?

Now go up to her in real life and ask her out straight out.
Maybe talk to some other chicks beforehand

I've talked to girls before and have had success/failures with girls if that's your notion. I'm even dating a HB8; but I've never approached a HB9 with such a bubbly personality. Just trying not to mess this up.

Dont tell her anything. Make it so that she finds out it was you from someone else and hopefully she will approach you about it. If she does end up saying something to you about it. Play the modest guy and say that she deserved the compliment and it was your pleasure to make her smile. But it was suppose to be aynonamous(with a big smile) then say thats what makes it beautiful.

Then leave it at that, dont try to game her. The less interest you show her at this point the more mysterious you seem, especially if you have no other motives, give it a week or two if shes still making an effort to talk to you and acknowledge you then you can start to game her.

By being modest and mysterious with no other motives other then to make a stranger smile, it will give the target the opportunity to build you up in her own mind putting you in a warm approach scenerio. It will also give you an opportunity to see if she displays any IOI's. It will also give her the opportunity to build your value to her friends.

If you show interest right away, then you just become any other guy thats attracted to her or tried to pick her up.

The more effort she puts into it all the better your chances.

Make sure your ass is near a toilet when you're gonna follow through or you'll end up with messy pants.
