Got this girl on match.com who seemed really interested, asking me a bunch of questions and really giving TMI on her end..got her digits after a couple messages on there and been texting the last couple nights. I know I shouldn't make myself too available but I got sucked into the trap and been texting her back the last couple nights like a regular conversation. Finally got to the point where I wanted to ask her on the date and I asked how this week was, and she said she was kinda busy with Christmas. Replied back that I understand and I'm busy as well, but sometime next week should work. Then here is where I think I fucked up..after she replied that it would be great(complete with exclamation points and smiley faces) I go on to reply soomething like yeah, that gives us some more time to get to know each other, so then you can really decide if you wanna meet me or not haha, do you have facebook? No reply. Think I just nuked myself here...unless she fell asleep which is possible as it was around 11 pm and she works early. I do have a plan if she texts back to get her back on track and make me seem more distant and busy, but how long do I give her until I reply back? Tonight(about 24 hours) or give it another day? This isn't the most gorgeous HB ever but she is cute and we have a lot in common so would like to get it rolling again |

Ye the last text wasn't great mate, you were basically begging for her approval... saying "do you really want to meet me?". You need to make sure that your time is something she should work for and getting to meet up with you is a treat for her. I would leave it at least a day, I personally would leave it until it approaches the time that you are suppose to meet her and then just give her a time and a place. Don't ask what she wants to do etc; if she wants to meet you, she will. Try to act un-phased by her not replying. |

Not the best text, but definitely not a disaster! I've recovered from way worse. What would be a disaster is over-analysing her signals which is what you are doing right now, the very fact that you cared enough to make a thread about her not replying just shows that you are texting this girl with a very shaky inner game! This will lead to a downward spiral towards oneitis where you will lose frame control and start to panick without validation from her; take it from someone who's been there! Take a step back. YOU are the prize, she is just another chick, you can take it or leave it because you have other options. It doesn't MATTER if she doesn't reply, she's the one being an idiot, not you. Get that into your head right now and I guarantee you will get laid! In summary: text was not a disaster, yes you were asking for her validation, but actually this is a good thing in small doses - you don't want to over-game a girl you want to date and possibly have a relationship with! Showing a little bit of vulnerability can build comfort, even PUAs are human. Underlying problem = inner game. Sort it out! |

You're right. I am the prize. We men are the prizes. I recovered nicely. Texted her durin work yesterday and she was all apologetic(omg I fell asleep)..took my time between replies and even left her hanging at the end of the night(told me she was cooking but I was at the casino w the boys..aka not time to text) I actually think back and realize how many women I went sour with overanalyzing and worrying about dumb shit. |
