So here's how it went down.

I was out one Saturday night with a good wingman. A guy in a medium sized group
(with girls obv) approached me. We started talking, he realized we were cool guys
and invited us along with him and his friends for the rest of the night.

There were three girls in the group, and they were looking for a party. I built a quick
rapport with two of the girls and one became really into me. She was touching me
and hitting me (kidding around) and laughing at everything I said.

There were times during the night where I would be talking to her friend and I'd look
behind me and she'd be following ME.

Anyway, toward the end of the night, we were by ourselves and she says "We should exchange numbers!" I said, "Only if you remember my name :P" and obv she announced it. Then I asked if I could kiss her, and she said yes. So I went in, and as I tried to pull back she kept kissing me.

That was the end of the night.

That was Saturday, then Wednesday night I texted her and asked if she wanted to
come over for dinner tomorrow night. No response.

It's now...about 8 days later and haven't heard anything.

Suggestions??

Thanks

Hey Nanotri13,

Ive had very similar situations and a common element involved in said situations is alcohol, the girls are tipsy/drunk more free spirited and at that moment they want to be with me, flirt with me, but only for that moment, its annoying as hell, because even though they announce that they would love to see you again, you get the number, then you txt and no response

Did you straight out ask if she wanted to come to dinner? there may be a chance that she just wanted your number for fun, so if you're out again you can txt her and meet up, you may have scared her off by saying that you wanted a one on one dinner

well Astroblizz im not sure thats quiet right or so it appears to me, alcahol doesnt have to be a factor nor did he mention it, even if they were drinking a girl would still of found his number in her contacts and if she had been so drunk she forgot him and would have been intrigued by the mystery of whos number it was and she would have txted him.

nanotri13 id say it sounds like you left it to long to txt or call her, bassicly out of sight out of mind, she ahsnt heard from you so your not on her mind like the night you met her, thats not to say shes completey forgotten who you are, your txt probably got shuffled around with the other dozens of txts she gets from everyone else, and she forgot to txt back, there could be lots of reasons, but the two id say are probably it are yourtxt got shuffled around into a blur of everyone elses or your txt might not have been engaging, she read it and it didnt peak her attention so she didnt give it the time of day, its kind of like the second approach if you will, i can refer you to some great products ive used that cover this and a wide range of other things with txting and in gaming when going out its free and full of content let me know if your intrested, but again its more likely her txt didnt pop out and grab her attention among the others she gets everyday.

uhh...i think you waited too long...you should have texted back the next day :/ but thats just me. However, maybe there are other factors that played into her either not texting you, or getting a chance to.

Let's talk about the "Three Days Rule".

The three days rule was always thought to be implied in interacting with a girl again after you had met her. Why three days though?

It was because if you met her in a club on Friday night, you weren't gonna call her the weekend and nobody makes the call on Monday, so that leaves you with anyday after Tuesday or 3 days of gap.

Now, this was designed back in the day, when men and women were connected by fixed telephone lines. In other words, it's not very wise to follow this rule in an era dominated by micro-blogging and social networking websites, where everyone has a mobile which they carry with them, all the time. And you're probably a student, so you cannot claim that you were "busy with your work", cause let's face it you probably weren't.

So, next time you get a girl's number, message her a bit sooner. Or she'll meet some other guy, who won't be quite the tortoise as you were.

Good luck.

Yeah kinda similar thing happened to me. We met, danced... I called her a little later 'come to mine for dinner', 'yeah love to' or something like that was the response and then flake.

My only conclusion was that there wasnt enough comfort. There should have been a second get together at a bar or whatever AND THEN the ask over.

Certainly you would never call back the same weekend of getting digits - shes likely got too much on and so no reply, unless you were WAY into eachother on the first night. Monday I think is fine, or tues. Wed hmmmm... Start of the week is good because you are likely the only social thing she has going on at the start of another boring week.

Same principle when it comes email and int dating.
