I got inside info that she's going to call and break, do I do it first? I don't want to burn a bridge and I want to leave the door open so that after some space there is still a possibility. Her cousin is good friends with me and said he would try and convince her after a break. Thoughts? R |

If/When she breaks up with you, the best way to handle it is to say, "I still want to be in this relationship, but I recognize you have your own feelings, and I accept your decision. Call me if you change your mind." Then forget about it (unless you hear from her). This is the best way to accept a break-up, because you demonstrate that you disagree, but you're mature enough to accept it. Somebody once told me, "If someone doesn't want to be with you, you aren't going to change their mind." Wise words. |
