Hey guys, interesting situation here and one i could do with your help on... Basically my girlfriend is spending a year abroad as part of her studies. I too am at university so i have some constraints as to cash/time to visit etc. but shes only in europe (im in UK) so visits will be possible on a reasonably regular basis. We currently talk daily, atleast once, usually more. And we regularly tell one another we love each other etc. As part of the whole challenge of maintaining interest should i reduce that? Or as we are far away is it more important to reaffirm that with words as actions arent possible? Its still early days in the year abroad so im new to the situation and interest levels are still high but i can tell things are changing already so i feel i need to act. any ideas anyone has would be gratefully received. How do you keep interest over long distance for a long time?! Cheers, El Rubia |

These can be tough. I just lost a girl due to long distance, but there were complications and I admittedly made mistakes. Though, having Facetime/webcam/SPAM chats on a regular basis is important. The ability for her to see your face and hear your voice simultaneously is powerful. It's easier to create attraction this way. Send her, from time to time, at night, some sexual messages. Describe what you'd do to her. Don't contact her 24/7. Wait sometimes, and let her contact you. Make yourself look like you're really busy, and that you have a very active social life (going out with friends, playing sports, bowling, etc.). |

COMMUNICATION is the most important thing on every LDR or in any relationship and makes the relationship grows stronger, text her call her on how she's doing and how was her day and ask her if she's home safe etc., this will let her know that you don't forget her, give time to communicate even though you are busy.. there's facebook, IM's and whats app "free text on iphone" just find ways to keep in touch with your woman! , Goodluck!  -TheNaturalPlayboy |
