Ok GF and I have a really good relationship but, im getting the feeling that Im keeping her at the emotional high point all the time, and Im not sure if this is good or bad. Examples, her texts are always like "i miss u so much cant wait to see u etc etc" When we see each other, we are all over each other all the time. And I DO reciprocrate. So, is this good/healthy or not?? Ive never been in a serious long term relationship so Im not too sure how I should lead after like 3 month point |

Warning! Warning! Relationship-Bot 3000 detects signs of a healthy relationship! What... is... love...? /nerd Just... just make sure you guys each have some time to yourselves, to do your own thing. The only thing I might ask: are you finding very difficult to keep her at that emotional high? That might be the only thing to worry about, because you can burn yourself out if you're working really hard to keep it up... |

It's so hard, because it all begins to seem so contrived after a while. |

Congradulation, you have caught the ever elusive, wild and endangered beast known as the "healthy relationship". Examples, her texts are always like "i miss u so much cant wait to see u etc etc" When we see each other, we are all over each other all the time. And I DO reciprocrate. So, is this good/healthy or not?? Ive never been in a serious long term relationship so Im not too sure how I should lead after like 3 month point It's tempermental and ferocious at times, but it's also magestic and beautiful. Soar on it's noble wings and enjoy. At the point at which it starts to seem cheesy, it's getting tired. Give it a rest. Then when it gets a little too lethargic, give it a poke and rile it up again. Like a good fire, unattended it burns out, too many logs its sufficates. You want to maintain a nice warm blaze with the occasional log and the occasional stoke. Now stop posting on forums and go have some actually intimate and fullfilling sex with your girl. |
