Post subject:  Interfereing Friend

Been with my gf HB8 for 9 months and everything is going great and smooth, too well if anything but cannot complain about that, The only problem I have is one that is starting to become a bigger and bigger one as time goes, and it is my gf's 'good' friend, The friend is a very insecure girl and treats my gf like dirt but this somehow makes my gf like her more! Anyways the friend dislikes me because i have taken my gf away from her she feels, and the girl im sure is trying to draw a reaction from mee, If she knows we are together she will text and text to annoy me, text at 6am on a weekend to wake me up and pressures my girlfriend to always go out with her instead making my girlfriend feel bad when she declines the offer.

The friend is really angering me now though as she is appearing to be absolutely everywhere at the moment and too be honest i feel she is getting her wish and starting to ruin my relationship,

Any help on how to approach this girl, do i confront her or stay quiet? Also to my girl when she mentions her or anything do i just act like it doesnt phase me?

Thanks for your help in advance

Ah, yes. You are dealing with the typical single-jealous-miserable female friend. Those are never good. And she will not be happy until your girlfriend is single, miserable, and hooked on crack (just like her).

Women easily fall prey to these "Frenemies". You need to read some good material on how to separate this girl from your girlfriend, but if you don't play your cards right it will all backfire. When that happens this girl will be sending prank call pizzaboys to your house while licking your GF's snatch and sending you cellphone pictures of it.

Haha!

Fear the Frenemy!

QFT! QFT!

May I suggest:

1) Start doing your own thing whenever this girl starts in on you two. If you're at a bar and the friend starts texting, turn around and start a conversation with someone. Go get a beer/water/whatever you drink. Etc. If your girlfriend sees that she is going to lose your attention when she responds to this relentless "friend" she will gradually become less inclined to do so. Then, reward her when she stops the interaction.

2) Spend a little less time with your girlfriend on a week to week basis. Let her have a few days a week to spend time with this friend, and make it clear that when you take her out on the town, it is about the two of you.

Whatever you do, don't react to this girl. You don't want to make your girlfriend feel worse, you want to separate yourself from this "friend."

This is really good advice. It kind of reminds me of dog training. Your girl will not get rewarded for unwanted behavior.
I wouldn't say anything negative about her, this will make you seem jealous and take the power dynamic from you.
I wouldn't look at ur phone when shes texting ur girl. This seems to me like a "text time" party or something, like it's mutually acceptable for both of you to text. i like the idea that you should get up and go do something else. Not like "oh you're texting so i'm gonna text to!" that seems too tit for tat and childish while not making your point at all.
